Venezuela’s climate changes with altitude and can vary from cool in the mountains to tropical and hot in the lowlands. Your final destination and itinerary will need to be considered when packing for a honeymoon in Venezuela. Average daytime temperatures remain at around 28 degrees Celsius in the low lying areas, but drop down to 8 degrees or so in the mountainous regions. You may want to avoid the rainy season, which runs from May through December.

NBefore departure, UK passport holders will be issued a tourist entry card when they check-in before departing for their honeymoon in Venezuela. Passports must be valid for at least six months from the date of travel. The tourist entry card is valid for visits of up to 90 days, and is free of charge. When you arrive at Simon Bolivar International Airport, you can hire a taxi to take you into the capital, or transfer to a domestic flight to your final destination. Public transportation in cities is reliable for the most part, and very affordable.
