If you want an activity-filled holiday then many of the beaches offer water sports and activities, including water-skiing, windsurfing and parasailing. If you’re looking for a more peaceful time then you can visit one of the more secluded beaches and relax by clear waters, visit one of the beach-side bars and enjoy some fresh seafood from one of the local restaurants.
If you’re lucky enough you may see the elusive green flash during your stay. On very clear, cloudless nights and just after the sun has disappeared behind the sea, a brilliant band of green light the width of the sun will flash on the horizon. If you’re lucky enough to see this then it will definitely be a moment you will both never forget.
