Findthecolour I am in the same boat! :( I can't get to sleep and then when I do I'm awake at 5 and my head starts whirring. I'd like to be able to take my head off my shoulders and put it in the garden for a few hours while I sleep but I can't (obviously!) I spoke to my harpist yesterday (never thought I'd say that phrase!) and she said she has the same problem sometimes and the trick is to say the word 'the' again and again in your head and you will drop off again. God I love fruit cake! I have made my own three tier wedding cake and I love the fact I made it myself. It was an absolute labour of love. All three tiers are fruit cake and I honestly don't care whether any of my guests like fruit cake or not. Those that do will enjoy and those that don't won't have any. I don't mind if I spend the next year living off my wedding cake! :)

I paid £750 for my band and they are DJing in between two sets of 45 mins playing. They would also have filmed the whole thing too if we had wanted that. I work in the music business so was picky bout what we wanted band wise as a lot of our guests are ion the music business too so we are a tough audience. I had an interview for a job a couple of weeks ago and got a letter on Tuesday to say I didn't get the job. Not the end of the world but in the letter they said they would keep my details on file and be in touch if there were any suitable vacancies. Which got me thinking, when companies say that do they actually mean it? Has anyone ever been contacted again by a company you went for a position with and didn't get the original job? Or is it something they just say, like the dating worlds 'I'll

That is encouraging. On the letter it said to apply for other jobs I was interested in there if one came up but I wasn't sure if that was just one of those things they said or they meant it. I did email them yesterday asking for feedback on where I went wrong for future reference but no reply.

I don't have a clue why they would do this. It would put me right off in the same way that spammers put us off their sites/products by spamming. Very odd!
