• Re: What shall we do in Paris?

Hire a Velib and cycle the city centre! It's dirt cheap and a fantastic way to see the sights. Obviously very weather dependent though. The view from the Sacre Couer is possibly the best in the city and you should definitely head down the steps into Abbesses. Some nice shops and cafes there. Enjoy!

  • Re: OT'ers on MD

Hmm. I haven't posted over here for a while (holds wrist out for slapping) but thought I'd pop over this morning and was drawn to this post! If you've been round the block so long, why not use your experience to help and advise those of us who haven't? Instead of moaning on here.

  • Re: Boobies!!
A Bravissimo lady once told me that if you're big up top and you're in the right size bra, the bra generally makes your boobs look smaller.
This is true! People are always shocked that I'm a 32GG. Currently breastfeeding though so am sporting a 34HH.

  • Re: If you were to get another cat.....

I can hardly criticise cat names given that mine is Audrey, which is a stupid name for a cat. As this one is male though he isn't at risk of such an affliction. Though don't call him Kevin. Also I don't recommend calling him Ginger. Our ginge was called Ginger and it is highly unoriginal! Cooper is cool though. I like that. I've always wanted to name a cat Sputnik, but as I tend to rescue oldies I'm generally stuck with the (stupid) names they come with!

  • Re: Should we have a goodbye thread?

Love this thread! Very fitting. I joined Hitched in 2010 when people IRL were getting sick of me talking about my wedding! That said I wasn't a prolific poster on WP and really consider BT to be where I found my feet. I got married in Feb 2011. We started TTC in April/May. I found out I was pregnant in June. Unfortunately we lost the baby a few weeks later. My employer handled it all appallingly so I walked out on my job. Signed up with an agency and got a contract straight away. Fell pregnant

  • Re: Losing my identity

I'm just very lazy and tight with money. The passport had 8 years to run when we married, so hasn't been changed and I've no plans to. The bank account got changed the day after the wedding because I had cheques in the new name to pay in. Other stuff has been done when it needs to be. Driving license was done last June because it expired. I also got the address changed on it. It still had my parents, when I bought my flat 3 years ago. Like I said, lazy.

  • Re: Web or content designers
Actually, you CMSers, what package do you use? Any hosting recommendations, please? I might buy an off the peg version of something and just customise that rather than going bespoke.
Check out Joomla. I've used it before and it's very good. Lots of decent templates available. I can code, but not to the extent you're looking for. Email templates and basic pages are more my thing.
