I had the same problem with my dad wanting to invite 10 of his friends when we are only inviting 45 to the wedding. We decided to pay ourselves so that we can have the day we want and just keep it small to save on costs.

We are getting married on April 20th. Organised Dress. Venue booked, registrar booked to do: rings , DJ , Invites sent out (we're going to do this 8 weeks before), Flowers room decor , Photographer , cake , favors, mens suits, bridesmaids dresses, Hair and make up, shoes and accessories, dance lessons, make list of favourite songs, book honeymoon, Wedding cars, write our own vows. I've been searching for videographers to video the wedding in the SW area (Bristol) but haven't found any
