  • Re: OMs - what are your wedding regrets?

Gosh where do I start lol. Firstly I would never have bought my dress from Berkgate. We would have run away with the kids to get wed, avoiding our day being down trodden by certain family members. I would have made a list of what photos we wanted as there are so many missed ones. I would have got into my dress sooner as was mad dash at the end. I would have had our party back home elsewhere. I would have ensured family sat on the right side as hubbys family were where mine should have been. I

  • Anyone had concussion before?

Hi everyone I did a silly thing on Tuesday and banged my head on the door arch of my car (stupid i know). I gave myself a right dunt and felt a bit stunned after it. I went to work as usual and about forty minutes later i nearly passed out so boss advised me to go to A+E. It was the front top of my head that i banged. Got assessed at A+E and basically told i had concussion. I did not receive any other aftercare advice. I had one dizzy episode yesterday and felt extremely nauseated at night so took

  • Re: My nephews been in a car accident!

Hope he is okay and makes a speedy recovery. One good thing is that this mass will be investigated which may never have been discovered otherwise (if unrelated to the accident).

  • Re: Unpopular opinions

I agree that addicts should not get the benefits that they do. Drug addicts get everything going and the fact is the majority of them will never bloody work but it was their choice to take the heroin in the first place. I also think they should be made to have the depo jab if on a methadone programme. Having a *** childhood is no excuse to take heroin. Quite a lot of old people have no manners whatsoever! I encountered this today when an old man was behind me (which i did not realise, i was handing

  • Re: Unpopular opinions

For Niche I mean like those without children who moan at parents who have to take time off when our children are ill. Would they rather we didn't work at all? Or moan at what they consider "perks" such as child benefit etc. Or like carers leave (not realising they can take it to look after any family member they have, not just kids). Its like those who dont have children dont want us that do to live our lives the way you have to when you have kids. It is different and unfortunately

Those who voted Conservatives and then moan about what they are doing (that are old enough to remember the Thatcher years) - bugs!

Pinky6: I have a few religious aspects I find unfair too, mainly that we are expected to respect and abide to some cultures whilst they are in our country but when we visit theirs then we have to strictly adhere to their views and beliefs. Strongly agree with the above! Prison should not be a holiday camp. Drug addicts should be kept in the same area of a city instead of bringing down all areas and should all go to one centre for their Methadone instead of the community pharmacies. *ducks - also

  • Re: Random musing

I too have paid for consultations that I would have been entitled to on the NHS. I am not rich but in order to get things moving I had to pay 200 quid a time to see this consultant. One thing i do think needs to be implemented is charging people for missed appointments. So much time is wasted with missed appointments. All it takes is a phonecall to cancel an appointment. Even a tenner charge might make people think more. I think eldery care is scary too, especially when most of the care homes here
