So far I have sorted; venues, dress, MUA, photographer, guest transport, STD have been sent out. We've had a look at suits and rings but nothing confirmed yet. Also started working out our invitations but nothing finalised - not sure when to send them out really.

Excited to hear where everyone else is up to ❤️

    Ooh me - how exciting!

    I am 17th June 2017.

Feeling pretty organised at the moment, we've registered our marriage, booked the venue, got my dress, got the bridesmaids all sorted (except shoes for the little one as she is growing), got my shoes, sent STDs, booked a DJ & caterers, & photographer & videographer... I've made a start on collecting some old vases & teapots for flowers, & sewed about a third of the bunting I'm going to need.

Really enjoying every minute of it so far, the only thing I've found stressful to date was hen do - a date is now booked & hopefully we're now all on the same page about what's going to happen! ?

You've reminded me, I also have DJ and a Band and bridesmaids shoes. We've given notice too Smiley smile You sound very organised, how much bunting do you need?

Are you arranging your Hen? It's the one bit I'm actually quite nervous about. Mine's in March to fit with everyone's diaries, but quote nicely it will be a year after we go engaged.

Woo have been waiting for someone to start this thread!!

    I am 24/6/17 ?

Despite being engaged for 3 years I havent got as much sorted as others. Booked venue, registrar, photographer and florist. Bought bridesmaids dresses & save the dates, and have part designed our invites etc and nearly decided on my dress. Fiance is making our postbox and im doing our favours (which cant do until the week of the wedding) which are also our table plan. Don't need transport as staying at wedding venue night before (although at the mo not sure if the bridal suite will be available for us to get ready in).

Need to book DJ and hair & make up next, and hoping a family friend will make our cake (need to ask her first)! Need to also finish our wedding website.

Hen do is being organised by my bridesmaids for next may. Feels crazy having to organise it so far in advance.

I'm getting married on 3rd June too Smiley smile

All I have left to do is suit hire, wedding rings and invitations (sent our save the date cards on 3rd June this year because I was very excited. At least no one can complain about it being short notice ?). Probably going to sort all these towards the end of the year. Almost done getting my bridesmaids dresses, I've taken the plunge and ordered one off ebay for us to have a look at after doing loooooads of research on the seller.

Think I've almost been too organised as now I'm actually looking for things to do now! Leaving my hen do up to my MOH as she loves organising things like that.

    Only 288 days to go....?

Hello Date Twin! Oh wow you sound extremely organised, we did the same with our Save the Date's a year before, although I still have a few left to give out as I messed up our guest list and needed to invite more people... oops

Going to the Bridal shop I got my dress from this Saturday for my bridesmaids to get measured for their dresses, and order a sample dress. I'm having the all in the same dress but different colours so my options were eBay or Bridal shops for the style I'm after bridal shop seemed the best option, just had to shuffle round the budget a little...

We had the exact same problem with the save the dates. I'm hoping people who don't have one will be ok just getting a proper invite later on lol.

I really wanted to get the BM's their dresses from a high street shop but as time ticks by I'm having a mad panic I will never find something. Really had my heart set on a particular colour and style and when I saw it on ebay, I thought for £30 why not give it a whirl! They are all very different shapes and sizes too so the one I've picked suits all of them. I would love to have gone the bridal shop route but apart from the price, getting them together is a total nightmare as 3 of them live in different parts of the UK and the other lives in Hong Kong.

I'm having trouble with one of mine, she's now living in Ireland (kind of indefinitely) and doesn't know when she'll be back for fittings etc. She's sent me though her measurements so going to ask the lady in the shop what size she thinks. Another is pregnant at the moment, the wedding is 5 months after she has the baby so kind of hard to tell what size/shape she'll be. Oh it's all fun and games Smiley smile

I'm aiming for 6 or 8 x 10m lengths of bunting, so about 320 triangles... god help me! Smiley smile My friend is also going to help me with some as well so not panicking yet but I'd imagine I'll be thoroughly sick of it by the wedding! I've probably churned out around 120 triangles so far & still enjoying it! ?

I do feel quite organised, the perils of being a PA & organising stuff all day every day! It's nice to know everything that needs to be in place is in place, & I can enjoy the next couple of months at least without worrying - I'm sure I'll find plenty of time for that nearer the date.

My BMs asked me what I wanted to do for my hen & so I helped them search for properties (we're hiring a barn), & find a date, but I'm leaving the rest to them now. I did have to steer them away from the whole weekend just being a massive piss up as I know there's the potential for about 3 of my hens to be pregnant by then & I want everyone to feel like they can enjoy the weekend rather than just sit & watch the rest of us get drunk. It wasn't easy though!

I'm going to arrange a separate local afternoon tea for mums & aunties & my 10 year old niece who's a BM too, but I'll do that much nearer the time.

Have you got any ideas what you want to do for yours?

I had a bit of input early on, we're going to Sheffield for the weekend and doing an activity in the day and then drinking on the Saturday night. The activity will be non-alcohol related as I'm going to have 2 hens that are new mums. I don't know much other than that, I'm a bit scared to be honest but my MOH knows me well so all will be well I'm sure.

I'm having an afternoon tea nearer the time too for my gran and my 14 year old BM and a couple of friends that's aren't into drinking or big nights out.

I admire your bunting making, I went through a phase of making it but I think I'd be sick of the sight of it by now, I get bored far too easily haha

Hi lou37, date triplets Smiley smile I've added you to the list.

I only sorted my hen do now so that people would know when it is, and have time to save. It's not overly expensive but wanted to give everyone notice. I'm also going to 3 other weddings next year so wanted to make sure there was clashes Smiley laugh

    Woooo a June 2017 thread!!

We get married on 24th June 2017!!!

Im feeling mega organised really. We've booked registrar and venue, photographer, DJ, florist, Mua and casino tables for the reception. And we've given notice.

I have ordered my dress too! And veil. Found the shoes I want. Have a sample bridesmaids dress, ready to order them all now.

Save the dates and day invites have been sent. I have the evening invites ready to send out in the new year. The website is live and fully functioning.

I have all my table decorations sorted, centrepieces (minus flowers), table numbers, seating plan mirror, wedding post box, photo frames.

Oh and I've organised my hen do and booked our honeymoon!

The only thing I'm struggling with is flakey friends who are letting me down!!

It's so nice to be among like-minded organised people, instead of people constantly telling me I'm way ahead of track & should just chill out! ?

I think we might be close to sorting our honeymoon out - gives us maximum time to pay it all off as well as all the wedding costs - just waiting for Audley to provide final costs for a trip to Borneo / Tioman Island Malaysia / Singapore. Super excited!

No date twin yet for me!

now im starting to think i need to get a move on!

we not going on honeymoon til October, looking at Barbados, so happy ot leave that till after the wedding

what are you all doing about mens suits. Hire or buy? are you paying for all the groomsmen suits or asking them to pay themselves??

is it too soon to look at mens hire yet??

So glad to see everyone else is just as organised ?. Everyone is always really shocked when I tell them how much I've done. Don't think I could handle the stress if I left it much later haha.

I ordered my dress a few weeks ago, takes 5-6 months to be made ? can't wait to try it on again.

We are in the final stages of planning our honeymoon, but can't book anything until H2B gets told how much time off he can get. We're going to America, thinking of Nashville/Memphis as my H2B is a huge music fan and then Washington DC. Fancied something a bit different, as we already did the LA/Vegas thing a couple of years ago.

We're hiring our suits. We already had a look around and are going to use a shop near where we live.

The man in the shop said to come back in October/November time to try them on and pay the deposit etc.

Amazing honeymoon plans everyone! We're going at the end of October, so we have time to save a bit more cash beforehand - I'm going to try & find a cottage somewhere in the UK so we can get away for a few days straight after the wedding.

I think H2B's plan is to wear some form of trouser with white shirt & braces rather than a full suit, so I think he's going to provide braces & tie (& socks!) & then the BM & ushers can wear their own shirts & trousers then... but he's not even decided on his ushers yet so god knows!

I feel suddenly unorganised, OH is away this weekend so I will get some done then (is it awful I wait till he's out...).

Janey (not called Janey :p) you're on the list too now! Chapples I'm sure we'll find your twin soon

We've booked the flights for our honeymoon; we're going to Vegas and road tripping to San Francisco. We get married on the Saturday and leave for honeymoon on the Monday so need to plan this too. Thinking it was a bit sily to book it so soon after the wedding now.

I've done a trip from NYC to Memphis before - it was amazing I can highly recommend Sun Studios in Memphis. If you're an Elvis fan Graceland is good. But even better than the tour (if they still let you do it) is in the morning before it opens you can walk up the drive and sit by his grave. That was amazing.

OH started looking at suits, he's looking to wear a different colour to ushers so he's thinking of buying his and then renting for ushers and BM. They're all wearing bow ties, OH has his made from Harris Tweed and then we'll buy them for the ushers in different colours to match the bridesmaids.

Loving hearing about everyone elses plans!

Thank you so much for the tips Smiley smile H2B is an Elvis fan and he is really looking forward to going to Graceland. We are going to do the same as you and go on the Monday afterwards.

I loved when we went to California. A tip for San Francisco in June is that you should take a jacket because it can be quite cold when the sea fog comes in. Loved it there! Are you going to LA? My only tip for there is to really research where you stay. We were in Hollywood and it wasn't the nicest part of town! Our hotel was good though. Santa Monica and some of the bits near the beach are lovely.

Don't think we're going to LA it doesn't really appeal to either of us, but you never know we might have a diversion that way Smiley smile

Graceland was amazing, but very museum like. Sun Studios was incredible I enjoyed that more. Make sure you take a marker pen to sign the wall at Graceland.

I would love to be going away straight after the wedding but OH is an offshore worker and taking unpaid leave to be off for the wedding and his set holidays are not until the October - but like that we can save a few pennies once the wedding done

always wanted to be triplet btw ?

These honeymoons sound fab! I really wanted to go September/October time but we can't go then as our daughter starts school in the September! So we go on the Friday after we get married. Verg jealous of all this Graceland talk. We both live Elvis too, and our first dance will be Elvis too!

Our first dance is to Elvis too! Must be something about June brides as we all have quite similar ideas ?

We have to go right after the wedding as my H2B will only be able to take extended leave around the time he actually gets married ?

Ah, I did a two week trip round west coast USA for my 30th - it was amazing! Vegas is crazy, San Francisco was lovely & I also loved Yosemite if you get a chance to go there, & Grand Canyon, depending on which way round you go. LA was just too big for me, but Santa Monica is indeed lovely. I also loved San Diego, although not sure if that'd be out of your way too!

Also would love to go to Memphis! That's on the shortlist for our big joint 40th trip in a few years(!) time! ?

    9th June for us :-)

Although I'm now feeling very disorganised!

Dress and venue are sorted, as are Save the Dates...however still need to sort church, invites, photographer, hair and make up...eek!

We did only decide on this 2 weeks ago, but now thinking I may struggle!

I've not managed to wrangle any Elvis into the day yet Smiley sad my dance with my dad will be Cher Walking in Memphis (as went there with him).

We're doing a weird loop from Vegas to San Fran and back to Vegas via goodness knows where so all suggestions are welcomed Smiley smile

Loving the Honeymoon talk - somehow planning that seems less stressful than the wedding.
