  • Older men

I just read an article about Joaquin Pheonix, with some pictures from his new film. I've always liked him since his early career, and indeed 'Walk the Line' is one of my favourite films.

He's 37 now, very smouldering, in fact he's bloody gorgeous! Who agrees with me when I say men really are like a fine wine?!

In my own experience, I've known OH for a long time now, I first met him when he was 25 and he was the village pub hearthrob then, really, really nice looking. So much so that when I show my friends photos of what he used to look like when he was younger, they don't believe it is him! He was still quite baby-faced when we got back together when he was 34, but now, at 38, he's really starting to look more his age, but I couldn't be happier, he's so manly and handsome in my eyes. I love a bit of weathering!

I know that Miss Flo adores the wonderful George Clooney, and I still get fluttery for Brad despite the awful beard he's got at the moment. Even Leo has grown into a fine figure of a man.

Who is your favourite older man? Or do you like the baby faces?

Not gonna lie, my OH was hideous when he was about 18, he had horrible long hair and a proper baby face. He's bloody gorgeous now.

I reckon I could just about lower my standards to the Cloonster Laugh

I prefer baby faces. I think my only older man crush is Phillip Schofield Embarrassed

  • Re: Older men

Yes definately, older is the only way IMO! Can't be doing with boys at all!  My manfriend is a lot older than me, and I think he's gorgeous. Definately an improvement over when he was younger. He's bald now, and suits it well, photos of him with hair are hilarious, I definately wouldn't have!!

Go on, flash us a pic of your OH!

Hmm kind of see where you're coming from there HT, tho I think he has perhaps gone overboard with the old Silver Fox look, and he irritates me in The Cube.

My favourite baby face belongs to Tyler in EastEnders, there's just something amazingly fantastic about him!

    Ahhh George *swoon*

yes, older men are now fitter...think Matt Le Blanc and one i recently saw whos not that old but older is Paul Nicholls!!

But is this cos WE are also getting older and finding younger faced men less attractive? Hmmmmmmmmmm

Denial has turned to ignorance and sheer panic.....

GOT to be Sean Connery if we are talking "old men"!

I am noticing the older men nowadays but that could be cos I'm pushing 30 myself. But saying that I love a bit of youth too. I wouldn't kick one direction out of bed. Apart from the blonde one..

I prefer older men personally. If I was going to go quite a bit older, I think it would have to be Chris Noth (but he would have to be acting as Big).

It is the character I fancy I think (when he says "absa-f*cking-lutely" makes me go weak at the knees)

I've seen the American Girl in Paris Part Deux episode about 50 times (no exageration) and still cry everytime he tells Carrie she is the one.

Ye gods...if they are older than me they are half dead.

My H is eight years younger than me. Thank goodness.
