  First Dance Song...

  IshouldCoco Joined on 05-Feb-2012 Posts 391	Contact Just wondering what people were doing regarding this. Quirky or heartfelt, mainstream or alternative? I had a midnight epiphany, think we'll be dancing to Genius of Love (Tom Tom Club). We're really stuck for anything else and wouldn't have a lurve song. What's everyone else doing/done? My OH played it to me in bed when he was trying to describe how we felt about me and repeated the words when he proposed. My favourite line is " It takes a woman like you to find the man in me" But it's definitely not a slow song.

  Contact We independently came up with a few ideas while listening to ipods on the train, but weren't a fan of each others' choices!  Then, on new years we were listening to random songs on spotify and came across the perfect song- The Book of Love. It's a little slower than most, but we'll make it work. The lyrics are so great, I couldn't imagine any of my other choices now! http://emilyinkent.tumblr.com

I didn't want a song that everyone else has at their wedding and I like songs that have an emotional sound to them.
