May 2012 Brides ... How are we getting on?

Have just looked at the infamous Hepburn List (http://www.hitched.co.uk/chat/forums/t/305810.aspx) and am presently surprised to find that I have forgotten nothing...squeeeeeeeeeeeee!

only a couple of things on that list left actually. i'm quite impressed, by the way that list is duplicated. Its not as long as you think!

Had the most amazing hen do! We all went to Cardiff overnight. I'm a bit of a Gleek and my BM's arranged a Glee dancing session, followed by drinks, then a drag show followed by strippers. Now I don't really enjoy, well i get uncomftable with things being put in my face but I really enjoyed it!

Now only less than 2 weeks till I say I do and full steam ahead! :)

I've had an amazing weekend away with some friends so have had some time not thinking about my day, which was extremely fab and just what I needed

I've got a few things still to do, plus I've got my hair trial on Tuesday. I'm quite nervous about that!

A day away from wedding planning sounds fab Nursey, hope you had a good time.  OH has been on his stag this weekend so I've been quite productive - unfortunately spent rather more than I should have on his Groom present but hopefully he will like it! 

Quick question for you all, I bought my sweets today for my buffet table, do you think I've got enough variation? Got cola bottles, gummi bears, strawberry bonbons, love hearts, white chocolate snowies, jelly strawberries and flying saucers.  Cant help thinking it needs something else!

So that's it, I've had my last fitting and alterations are done! Mean's I have to now maintain my weight, just hope the next few weeks before the wedding I don't lose any more!!

buy a hairband for our flower girl - DONE!

 

practice our dance as often as possible - ONGOING

 

get my engagement ring cleaned - will do day before

 

finalise caterer details (9pm tonight) - DONE!

 

finish off my Groom's journal - ONGOING

 

complete the entire MoH journal - oops, eeek! - DONE! Just need to pick photos

I am unbelievably excited today...

Just got back from my surprise hen do in Bristol. The girls had done me so proud - dinner, cheesy club, afternoon tea, SATC evening in with a professionally edited Mr&Mrs DVD and various other treats and surprises. It was lovely. The only weird thing was on the way to afternoon tea I had what seemed like the start of a panic attack in the car and couldn't stop crying all afternoon. Had to keep going to the loo! I have been so calm up until now. Please tell me it's normal to have some sort of freak out at some point?!? I'm so cross with myself as I didn't want to spoil the day for anyone and I wanted the hens to know how much I appreciated it but I just couldn't seem to stop the tears and shakes

Aww saspip you're making me nervous now! I think it's quite normal to have some kind of disfunction at this stage. Mine seems to be manifesting itself recently in various occurrences of memory meltdown. Are you a sensitive/ emotional person normally? Glad you had a lovely time otherwise. But yes eeek not long now! I can't believe the May b2bs have started crossing to the other side already!

I am quite emotional, I cry at tv / films / adverts at the drop of a hat but in 'real life' I'm quite tough if that makes sense? I don't cry for myself a lot, but I do cry for other people! I think I was just overwhelmed and that combined with a hangover and the fact EVERYTHING was a secret (which was lovely but made me feel out of control) got too much for me. 

Can't believe there's so little time left to prepare. Hopefully having the freak out now means it won't happen on the morning of the wedding at least!

My friend has sorted out all our music for us and cut my walking down the aisle song. Ive got the CD's in my car and trying to listen to it as much as possible as i get sooooo emotional when listening to it.

I had hen night number 2 on Sunday just local was such a good day; I was totally abused, but went along with it!

Day 1 of 8 to work, before the big day, so pleased I’m having the week off before, I have so much left to do!!!!!
