  Persistent Spammers & Deleted posts

  Contact Threads are often bumped up by spam posters whose posts are soon deleted afterwards. Why do they still have active accounts when every single one of their posts are deleted for spam?   There have been a few instances of these users commenting on very sensitive threads, which if their account was blocked wouldn't happen. I think we are pretty hot on dealing with them once they are reported but it is very tricky to spot them all as they register. Dean

  Contact Mrs C, I'm a commercial member (so pay to have a link to my own website on forum posts). I reported a member for linking to her commercial websites last night - the post is still visible.   This occurs quite a bit, and is very annoying - the offerder in this instance is a TOG - apparently doing well, but obviously can't be bothered to pay the small fee to Hitched.   If Hitched can't actively police this, then I'll be passing my business elsewhere. I see hitched as a business, and so by taking my money for commercial membership, they should protect use from spammers and other abusers.
