  • ----------Weekend TTC--------------

    Hello ladies

What, no thread? Decided to make it a 'weekend' one, rather than just Saturday, as it gets quiet here on the weekends.

We were supposed to be going down to Crufts tomorrow with friends. As their *** is one of the classes, we would have to get up at 4am in order to get to the NEC for 9am and probs wouldn't get back home until midnight - which is tough going when I have 5.30am starts all week.

I couldn't get Mon off work as I am so busy/interviewing, so I can kind of see H's point that I'm knackered and try and do too much, but really it's also cos he didn't want to go. Last year we made a weekend of it and stayed over for a night in a hotel but this year our friends wanted to do there and back in a day (7/8 hour round trip).

Anyway, I've told the friends in question that we aren't going, and made up a white lie about our dog being in season so not being able to leave her, but it's really playing on my mind. I HATE lying to friends. It's made me feel awful. Plus, I really wanted to go Bang head Hey ho, sure I'll get over it but I'm just disappointed cos I was looking forward to it.

TTC-wise - CD 11, still low. Thought I may have moved to high by now, but obviously not . . . .

Any, Love and Babydust all round.

I'm off riding, car shopping and visiting my Gran today. Just baked some choc chip muffins so I'll take her one. Have a good day all xxx

    Hello,

Wow it is quiet here today!

Mrs C - How was the party?  I bet you are glad it is over now!

SB - I'm sure the CBM will pick up soon. I'd be the same as your H not wanting to travel all that way in a day! Have a nice day with your Nan and horse.

AFM - I *think* I got a positive opk yesterday but it's a bit iffy, but we dtd just in case! I felt sick this morning and had 'toilet issues' Embarrassed last night immediately after so H said I'm probably pregnant!!! Had to laugh and explain it can't happen that quickly! He then surprised me by saying well I know where you are in your cycle and it's highly possible we've done it at the right time! I said 'oh really, I don't even know where I am in my cycle, how do you?!?' And he replied he'd been reading things as he knows how much I want to get pregnant again before the due date of the other bean. Bless him!! Fluffy I did then go on to explain its a long process!!! I reckon my dodgy tummy was eating eggs!!! lol! ROTFL

Anyway today we've been shopping for goodies for Mothers Day tomorrow and we have friends over for a takeaway tonight. Tomorrow we are going to be shopping in Bluewater, going for tea and cakes with my mum and then home for a slap up meal, yummy!!!

Enjoy your weekends ladies, wherever you are and whatever you are doing xxx

Gosh it really is getting quiet here.

Sexybexy- Its only a little white lie. and I don't blame you.

Sounds like you have another busy day ahead- enjoy.

Me well the party was fab and had a bit of a glitch just before but H loved it.

He was so emotional which in turn made me emotional,Not sure of exact numbers but I think over 100 turned up so he was very lucky.

    The band was absolutely brilliant.

My friends were fantastic and helped me set up the hall and prepare the food and I couldn't have doen it without them.

Unfortunately I appear to have lost my camera so not really very pleased about that but have already been sent a few photos so hopefully will get sent some more.

    Babydust to you all. xxx

    Afternoon Ladies,

Sexybexy - sounds like the right decision, you would be exhausted if you went, shame though.  Hope your Gran is okay.

1stbaby - bless your H, he sounds lovely.  Have a lovely day, fingers crossed it was a +opk

MrsC - sounds like the party was great fun, well done you, you can have a rest now, I think you earned it.

AFM - CD15, no +opk yet which has thrown me a bit to be honest, house sale is still going ok at the moment, still haven't seen anything to rent so probably wouldn't be a good thing to get pregnant now anyway, we might be homeless in a couple of months Tongue Tied

Have been out looking at cars today, we can't quite decide what we want, went to GAP and bought my daughter lots of lovely summer clothes and now have a lovely quiet evening ahead.  I'm working all day tomorrow so probably wont manage to get on but just wanted to say Happy Mother's day, hope you have lovely days.

    See you Monday

    Love

Peppapig- Is this your 1st month opk's? I used them for 2 months and never had a definate positive despite poas twice a day. I did get a few darker lines but not darker than the control which you should get with opk's. I actually do believe I ovulate though as get tender boobs, different CM at different times etc.I think what I'm trying to say is don't lose heart if you don't get a +. I've ditched them this month as they stressed me out too much. That said I do hope you get a + as it would make life so much easier.

If its not great timing it will probably happenLaugh things have a funny way of working out.

  • Re: ----------Weekend TTC--------------

I do. I generally don't drink too much anyway so its not really an issue. But we have been ttc for nearing 11 months in total so thats along time to not have a drink, and I do enjoy a glass of wine now and again. Everything in moderation I say.Drinks

Bex - Good idea with the weekend thread with it being a bit quieter.

Sorry you didnt get to crufts hope you still have a good weekend.

1st baby - How sweet of your H bless him. Hope you caught the egg. Hope you have a lovely day

    today.

Mrs C - I am glad your H party went well, sorry you lost your camera I hope it

    turns up.

Peppa - Hope you find a car you like and have a nice day.

Mrs G - Hope you catch your egg soon.

AFM - Well I had a pretty busy day yesterday, went into town and had my eyebrows threaded.

Picked some new glasses for my H and then we went to see my nan and take my mum out for a

meal last night. Was a lovely restaurant really good food so that was nice and we had 50% off

everything including drinks so we shared a bottle of wine so that was good to.

I tested before to check I was ok to drink and it was a BFN but was expected.

I need to concentrate on getting back on the diet as I have seen a dress I want for my MIL

wedding but it is fitted and the biggest size is still too small. Hopefully with about 6 weeks

to go until I need to order it I should be ok.

I may not be around much during the week so will need to check the weekend posts for updates.

Happy mothers day to all the mummies and those who are waiting it will soon be your turn.

Happy Mother's Day to all the lovely mummies and all want-to-be-mummies on this thread Love Hope everyone has a lovely day.

AFM, CD13 (unlucky for some) and I got my first High on my CBFM Big Smile

I am so excited Bounce Bounce Bounce I had accepted that it may show all Lows this month (sssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhh, strictly speaking you are not supposed to use the monitor until two normal cycles after coming off AF but I'm using it anyway on the basis that if it's haywire I'll do a factory re-set and wipe all the data) but it's showing High today which means it had detected a rise in eostrogen (sp?) Happy Mother's Day to me ha.

I'm off to make my DH his sausage and tomato sandwich and then take him off to have my wicked way with him Wink

Back on for personals later, just wanted to share xxxxxxxxxx
