  Which holiday would you choose ?

  Contact Fingers crossed we'll be going on holiday in the middle of April.  We have narrowed it down to 3 options and just can't decide between them.  All will be similar prices (thank you Virgin !), which would you choose :- Orlando - hire a villa & car - know it well, know where everything is - nothing I really want to do and it's a bit boring for me (go there every week with work) - know the crew on the aircraft so not worried about Zoe misbehaving - will be in premium economy Caribbean cruise - more complicated as need to fly to Orlando and then do an internal flight - lots of activities on board for Zoe - get to show H and Z the place I grew up - don't need to sort out food etc - babysitting service onboard so H and I could have one or two meals on our own - never done before so a bit daunting with a toddler too Dubai - half board in hotel - could be very hot - shorter flight but in economy - comfortable with it as been lots of times     Apologies for lack of capital letters - Zoe has stolen my shift key

But from your perspective maybe the caribean cruise might be a better all rounder - sounds like something for everyone, a bit of a break for you and H and hopefully internal flight won't be too long.

  Contact WE are off to Dubai in 6 weeks with a 3.5 year old and (then) 9 month old.  I've been 3 times already but iy ticks lots of boxes for us - it will be hot, we are staying AI so really convenient and all facilities within easy reach, reasonable flight time, can either laze by the pool/beach or head into the city for someting different/head to waterparks etc. The other holiday on my list with the kids is a cruise.  Much the same reasons as above actually re convenience and just for a change of scenery.  The internal flight wouldn't bother me at all but (touchwood) mine have this far been easy travellers! Orlando is on my list to do maybe next year or the year after when we can do the whole Disney thing with the kids.  If getting a villa and ust chilling out is all you want then it will be fine but if you will be restless and wanting to get out and about I think you may be bored.  Given they are all the same sort of price I would go for the cruise of Dubai.

  Contact I think the cruise. I'm also interested to know where you grew up?! Dubai is lovely but I'm not sure I'd want to take a baby. Not been to Orlando, but having seen PC's holiday pics I want to go! If you've been there loads before though sounds like it would be nice to do something different.   Contact You've all picked the one I want !  H is worried that the cabin will be too small but I think it's just fear of the unknown really.  Fingers crossed that when we actually try to book there will be suitable dates available - staff travel is a great perk but it does mean everything is a bit last minute as it's only if there are spaces available.   smarties Joined on 01-Jul-2004 United Kingdom Posts 8,534	Contact I think I'd go for the cruise, it will be something different from the Orlando trip and the Dubai holiday could be veyr very hot and therefore restrict what you are able to do. All sound like exciting options though.

Only because peronally I was scared on the cruise! However, I think the Cruise would be the most child friendly and would offer you all something different. Happy choosing!
