  	Contact Pretty much sorted everything apart from suits, and flower girl dresses!  Have a meeting with my venue in May to sort out the menu's but that's only because my wedding coordinator is going on maternity leave! How about you?  Whereabouts are you getting married?

Drifter you are my friend - you are as disorganised as me!   I just have venue, dress, photographer and florist....that is all Married 10.10.10

For all us October brides, have you had any negative comments about choosing to get married in October?  I have had lots of "oh, October why not August".  Arrrrggggh, its doing my fecking head in!!!!

She is lovely and really quick to reply and very accomidating to my ever changing ideas!   Twickers - i havnt really had any negative comments about it being october. I think October is a nice time - we picked it as we wanted 10.10.10 and we also didnt want a summer wedding only to be totally disapointed by the rubbish english weather! At least with October noone is expecting glorious sunshine only to be disappointed when it pours with rain! If its sunny on our wedding bonus though!   Married 10.10.10

No I haven't actually. Quite a few people have said it's a lovely time of year & that you can plan your wedding without worrying about the weather (if you expect it not to be great anyway IYSWIM). Having said that I've been to 2 October weddings in glorious sunshine and 2 in August which were grey & rainy.
