  • *~* It's Friday 2nd trimesters! *~*

    Morning all, and happy Friday!

Well, 22 weeks here today, although feeling like a complete elephant - was asked by someone how far along I was last night and when I said, their jaw dropped, made me feel huge!

Think I've made my mind up to go on ML at 36 weeks, it's nice to have it in the diary now. Enjoying bump in a new top today, will try to get a bump pic over the weekend too.

Think Madonna has an appointment today, so fingers crossed all is well and good luck to Sparkling, even though she's over on 3rd tri now.

    Love to all,

    Margot

    Morning Wave

Margot, has the 22 weeks passed quickly? I just want over half way Laugh.  Enjoy the new top, I need to go through my clothes today and be ruthless, binning things I am never going to get in to again, and putting things that hopefully I will fit back into in September somewhere easy to get to.

As for me, 13+2. Nausea eased off a little yesterday, it just seems to suddenly appear but doesnt stay as long as it was last week, which is good.  Need to phone the hospital today about being referred, ask them to double check it. Didnt get a chance to do it yesterday.

I am still not in the 'there's a baby in there' zone yet Laugh or the 2 children thing, and definitely not even starting to think about maternity leave Laugh.  I know I am still relatively early, but when did you lot all start thinking about it?  Part of me is thinking it would be lovely to have the summer off with E, but then part of me is thinking that if it is hot being stuck with a toddler all day may be a nightmare, and at least the office has airconLaugh.   Maybe I should think about it, and at least have a plan in my head about whats happening.

    Wave to everyone.

    Morning All,

Margot - sure you look gorg, it's nice to feel all bump in a new top isn't it?!! Have a fab day xx

SMiley - glad the sickness is wearing off, it makes everything so much better doesn't it.

As for me, Hubby has the day off ( after doing a few quotes - he's a builder) so I am dead chuffed and he is already on Gabe duty after he has walked the dog so I can have a nice shower - bliss!  I too am looking massive and love having a bump back! This baby kicks so much, and especially when Gabe is around talking or singing etc which makes me really happy that they love their brother already!

Hi Smiley, glad the nausea is easing off for you x

DebsC - have a lovely relaxing day!

As for me, I think Peanut has started to recognise his Daddy's voice as when he reads him his bedtime story he goes mad with the wriggling and kicking which is lovely Love

Still have very leaky boobs at night which seems to be getting worse - really need to buy some breast pads!

It's my first wedding anniversary on Sunday so we're going to Chester for the weekend and staying in a lovely hotel - really excited now, only today to work!

Oh and we found out yesterday that we got the flat we went to see on Monday! So we just have to stay out our notice at our current place then we can move just after Easter!

Love to all who come later, good luck for any appointments and scans,

    HAPPY FRIDAY XXX

  • Re: *~* It's Friday 2nd trimesters! *~*

Morning ladies. Sneaking on during my PPA time, so I'll be quick!

Margot, happy 22 weeks date twinnie, although with you going for the section, less chance of our little ones arriving on the same day. Hurray for new tops. I could do with a couple as I only have about 5 or 6 that fit and I'm already fed up of wearing them!

Smiley, I think 22 weeks has taken ages to get here but gone quickly too if that makes sense. I hope your nausea is all gone. I just tend to gag at things now, like cleaning my teeth is still a nightmare and some of the nasty things my class do with snot etc that didn't used to bother me do.

Debs, yay for hubby having some time off and being on Gabe duty for you.

Mrs Lord, how lovely that baby recognises daddy. Eugh about the leeky boobs though, I'm crossing my fingers I don't get that for a while yet!

Max, yay for moving baby, I really can't feel much but then I'm fat on top of being pregnant so I'm not too worried. I do feel movements, like last night at choir practice but nothing huge. How exciting that your wedding is so close. I'm jealous and want to do it all again!

So 22 weeks for me today too. I feel huge but I've a feeling I'm going to get even bigger! I have woken up with the mother of all colds, so I'm not impressed. I'm just looking forward to the weekend as on Saturday I'm seeing my friend and her boyfriend before they go off for 6 months  singing on cruise ships and Sunday I'm seeing my godaughter who is convinced I'm having a boy called George or a girl called Peppa! Then I'm looking forward to Wednesday so I can see mini Motti again thanks to them not behaving at my 20 week scan!

    Nich and MM

    22+0!

  • Re: *~* It's Friday 2nd trimesters! *~*

Happy Friday Margot! 22 weeks, weeeeee, where has time gone?! Don't be silly, you look great, your bump looks fab, wish mine looked as prominent... I'm sure people still think I'm just fat!

Smiley - that feeling used to really bother me - hellooo are you in there?! LOL! I've decided I want to leave at the end of June and baby is due July 14th, but I might take more time off before, depending how I feel. I wanted to give them a general idea in advance, to keep them sweet!

Debs - enjoy your little break! Glad baby is kicking lots, mine's a real wiggler too!

MrsL - Wahoooo about the flat! Bet you are SO chuffed! Have a great weekend, I'm jealous!

Morning Max - getting excited about the big day?!!! You are so bouncy!!!!!! What do you have left on your list?

Hi Nichola - sorry you're feeling poo but yay for seeing baby again soon! How exciting! I wish I could see Peanut again!

AFM I'm feeling really good today. The house is coming together slowly and OH is being pretty lovely generally. Baby is still wiggling although I dont feel massive yet. That said, in the bath last night, my belly popped right out of the water! Laugh I like having it, but I want it to be more obvious already!

    Hope you're all well xxx

OMG! It's my last day here today!  How on earth did that happen??? Big Smile

Margot - having a date to finish work is very exciting.  You've only got 14 weeks left!

Smiley - Don't think I've said hello yet, lovely to see you over here.

Debs - having a a child who is really into your bump is amazing isn't it?  How old is Gabe?

Mrs Lord - sounds like you've got a fab weekend planned.  Hope you have a lovely time.  Congratulations on getting the flat.

Max - you must be so excited at the minute with both baby and wedding come up!

Nichola - Laugh @ George or Peppa.  I have a friend whose daughter thought that her brother/sister would be Sporticus or Stephanie!

Nixxy Noo - don't worry, the massive stage will come soon enough

AFM - like I said, it's my last day here today so I'd like to say thank you to you all for your support.  I'm sure I'll see lots of you over on the big girls thread very soon.  I am huge.  Nobody believes that I'm not due until June (including me when I look down at my bump!) or that there's only one in there.  My back's having a good couple of days which is a miracle in itself.  Most importantly, after today I've only got 25 more working days left!  It's 8 weeks today that I finish but I'm using lots of leave to break it up.

    Morning ladies!

Margot - how exciting that you've got your finish date. I'm finishing at 33 weeks - my job's very physical and I don't think I could last past that!

Smiley - the half way point will be here before you know it. Glad the nausea has eased off

Debs - try and get some more you time with your hubby being around

Mrs Lord - how sweet that MrL reads baby a story! What do you read to him?

Max - 2 weeks to go! Eek Hope everything is going well! I wish I could do mine all again.

Nichola - hope you're well. Brilliant that you get to see baby again soon...hope it behaves this time Laugh

NixxyNoo - I feel as though I've suddenly just popped out!

PP - good luck on the big girls thread - you'll be missed but we'll be over soon enough to keep you company x

AFM - I'm getting my eye brows waxed and my hair cut today! I'm off to a wedding on my own tomorow as H is at his chamber's AGM.

I'm jealous of you all feeling so many movements, I only feel pops now and again. Maybe it's because my placenta is anterior?

I also managed to spark a big debate on facebook last night between my friends. I was saying that I wanted to go on a family long haul holiday next year and they all seemed to think that it can't be done. There was some who disagreed cue the big debate!

I'll take a bump pic of me in my wedding outfit tomorrow.

Can I just ask - do you think any of you will receive Mother's day cards next week?

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Kathryn, Have a fab time tomorrow at the wedding, oh and enjoy your pampering things today, I love having my hair done.

I'm not sure I'd go on a long haul holiday next year but then that's just me, I certainly wouldn't say it was not doable, as I'm quite sure it is!

Nixxy, that is my advantage of having an unco-operative baby first time around! I've yet to hear the heartbeat so I'm going to ask the sonographer if I can hear it.

Purple Pixie, see you on the big girl's thread soon!

  • Re: *~* It's Friday 2nd trimesters! *~*

    Hi all Wave

What a lovely sunny day it is in West Berks!

Margot - Hooray for reaching 22 weeks! I know what you mean about being asked how far along you are and then the person looking surprised! The receptionist at work asked me when I was due this morning and when I said end of July her jaw hit the floor! I must be humungous?!

Smiley - We're kind of restricted about when I can go on ML from a money perspective, but I plan to finish at 37 weeks and have 2 weeks as annual leave and then start formal Mat Allowance (I'm not entitiled to SMP) from 39 weeks IYSWIM?

DebsC - Lovely that you're feeling baby and it's responding to Gabe!

MrsL - What stories is H reading your bump? I was saying to H to start talking to my bump but he feels silly, when did your H start talking to yours? Great news about the flat and Happy Anniversary! x

Max - How lovely about the movements!

Nichola - Another at 22 weeks! Sorry you're feeling poorly.

Nixxy - Glad you're settling in at home!

PP - Wow can't believe you're moving to 3rd tri already! We're all here if you want to pop back for a chat.

Kathryn - Pamper day! Hope the wedding is good. I know what you mean about movements. I saw the big debate you sparked on fbook! I'm in agreement with you, a holiday is a lovely idea and perfectly doable I think. I know Pina Colada took E to Florida when she was about 6 months!

AFM, still no movement but you lot and my GP all put my mind at rest yesterday. 10 sleeps till my scan so counting down! Seeing SIL for the first time since her miscarriage tomorrow so that will be a bit strange as we'd have been a week apart, then meeting my best mates baby on Sunday! She'll be 2 weeks old but I've not been allowed to go until Sunday as my friend & baby have been in the incubation period for chicken pox and it was too risky with me being preggers! Can't wait Big Smile

Love to all laters and lurkers, back in a bit!

Hep & Boom Boom 18+5 xx

Hi everyone, back for personals before we go shopping,

Smiley, it's flown by this time, I guess because I'm distracted by J. Hope it flies by for you too and 20 weeks whizzes round fast!

    DebsC, how cute is Gabe?!

MrsLord, have a fab weekend and yay for the flat!

Max, can't believe your wedding is only 2 weeks away! I know what you mean about the bump thing, I was quite small and neat with J so it's a contrast to be quite big so far this time!

Nichola, hope the cold shifts fast as it sounds like you have a lovely few days ahead, enjoy!

Nixxy, glad all is going well with the house.

PP, good luck for your 3rd tri and how lovely to only have 25 days left!

    Kathryn, enjoy the wedding.

Hepburn, lovely and sunny here in South Bucks too! How fab that you've only got 10 sleeps till scan and hope you have a lovely weekend.

A rather trying morning at work today but glad it is the weekend, H should be home soon so after shopping, we're planning a quiet weekend of sorting things for the extension. J is very tired at the moment, so need to try and keep him going till after shopping at least.

hi, just a quickie from me as I'm off to work.

Not sure if I've been feeling movement, I'm 17 weeks and have an anterior placenta but keep feeling small jabs / pokes from the inside. Nothing like the butterflies or gas that people talk of. Maybe it's just ligaments moving around?

    Happy Friday everyone.

    P 17 weeks

    ps, well done Kathryn!
