  • What has made you smile today?

I was woken up this morning not by Seb crying, but chuckling. He was still fast asleep in his moses basket but chuckling in his sleep, it was sooo cute. He hasn't laughed before so it's the first time he's ever done it and it is such a lovely sound Big Smile

It's fab when they chuckle isn't it?! Louie hasn't laughed properly yet but he talks & laughs in his sleep all of the time. So funny.

Louie's smile. He wakes up in such a cracking mood every day it really sets me off. Actually can I have two? He's currently sat in his bouncy chair talking to his toys & teething ring.

Oh and the sun. The sun always makes me smile.

    Awww that's adorable!

Pretty bad day here today but I did laugh at Finlay (age 3.5) doing some flower arranging and telling me he was going to "pause the flowers so that I can have a wee".  If he's jiggling around and watching a DVD I tell him I'll pause it so he can do a wee, I love that it's turned into pausing inanimate objects, too Laugh

Jaron making me breakfast this morning and insisting on feeding Toby whilst I ate his gruesome kids cereal that he had drowned in milk. ROTFL

It's the thought that counts, bless him. He thought my usual breakfast of coffee and porridge was "A bit boring Mummy!".

Apart from the fluffiness on my other thread, the gorgeous spaniel puppy we saw in town. I really want a spaniel anyway and this just confirmed it!

I wanted to go out and change the world but I couldn't find a babysitter.

Putting on Pipetta's current favourite song - Feeling Good by Nina Simone and feeling her wriggle away to it.

The lovely comments that I had on my facebook thread and knowing how many hitchers are excited with me.

Walking into the lounge to find Izzy had pulled herself to standing using the sofa - she's not been able to pull herself up before on something she can't grip her hands around!

Not child related but my friend telling me about her smear test.  The nurse, who wasn't overly friendly, told her to come in and said that she'd warmed the speculam (the metal duck type thing!)?  She went to do the examination and said "my goodness this speculam is FAR to small for you, I'm going to have to get the big one out!  You do realise it won't be warm don't you?!"

Cue my friend, blushing with embarrassment!

nothing. I'm having a hellish day - yet more questions over what is wrong with sarah, more differing opinions, still waiting for an appointment for her at the hospital, she isn't eating properly  and a lorry has jack knifed in our lane so I can't go out and get supplies/fresh air/sanity because that is our only route out. Deep joy!

Still, had a good day yesterday - thats karma for you!!
