I've just been on Hepburn's clothes thread and her list says 24 muslins. Doctor DooLittle has said she has 40 and that seems to be enough for her LO (not criticising DDL - I'm genuinely fascinated, especially by where you keep them all??! ) Our few take up an entire small drawer in the nursery!). And now I'm really intrigued, because we started with 9 muslins and when Izzy got to about 9 weeks and started posseting like crazy, we bought another pack of 3. So 12 in total. Izzy's not been much of a dribbler, and I never needed them for catching excess milk when BFing, but was very sicky for several months (still a little bit now!), and 12 has been plenty, even using a couple a day at one point.
How many do you have? And how many do you take out with you, while we're on the subject?
Thinking MILK - uses for muslins? Obviously I use them for wiping hands, face, nose, as an improvised change mat, a picnic blanket, a BFing cover up, mopping up coffee after Izzy tipped my mug all over us and the floor ...
