    Hope everyone is okay!

Morning Madge, hope your day whizzes by and you are back at home resting very soon. Hope Sausage reminds you of his presence lots today too to keep your spirits up!

AFM, off to the hospital today for consultant appointment and have the whole morning off, so will drop J at nursery then home for a child-free breakfast - how lovely! Alreayd had a grr at H though - am taking his car today so it can be MOTd whilst I'm in town and asked him twice last night to put the carseat in it. As he leaves this morning, I checked and he had a moan about how late he was and how he thought I could do it - with a 2 year old in tow? I think not! Why can't they just listen!

Will be back in a bit for personals and will report back on the appointment later,

    Margot

    Morning everyone,

Madonna - hope your busy day means you are distracted from being tired and means you get a decent sleep tonight.

Margot - good luck with your consultant appointment.  My H is the same, I get sick of repeating myself half the time!

As for me, nuchal combined test results were as good as it gets yesterday, from 1:148 for my age down to <1:20,000 so we are very happy with that.

Got my booking in appointment/NHS scan today, so once we are through that then everything can become official! They wont accept my scan from last week, so need to be rescanned today. And there was me thinking I was saving them time/resources.  Oh well.

  • Re: *** Weds 2nd Trimesters ***

Smiley, good luck with everything today, hope it goes smoothly and how frustrating that they want you be scanned again, although it will be lovely to see baby again!

    Morning

Madonna - Hope you have a speedy day so you get some rest tonight.

Margot - Hope consultant appointment goes well. I am under consultant care too & my appointment was last week. Didn't go too badly I guess. Enjoy your child-free breakfast! (What's one of those? Laugh)

AFM - I had another brilliant nights sleep (Sorry Madge!). All of us seem to be sleeping really well this week (touch wood). We've even had to resort to waking J in the mornings for nursery, which is very unusual. I doubt it will laast, but would be nice to keep it up until at LEAST Friday as we all have the day off.

Baby is very wiggly the majority of the day, then goes quiet all evening & seems to give me one or two very large boots just as I get into bed. Always makes me Smile

    Have a great day all

Madonna, sounds like a good baby dream? I only seem to get the scary kind. I once dreamt I'd had the baby but he was as big as my little finger and I kept putting him down and losing him! Have a lovely day x

Margot, hope the appointment goes well, enjoy the child free breakfast x

Smiley, I cancelled my 12 week scan, they can't make you have it, how silly that they won't accept your nuchal one?! Enjoy seeing your baby again though x

Splosh, it's like they're giving you permission for a good nights sleep isn't it? I'm here, I safe, well and strong enough to gove you a big kick now have a nice sleep! x

I'm still swallowing razor blades, the pain is wearing me down now! However must be brave as it is H's birthday tomorrow so have to go shopping for baking ingredients. Will also pick up some cds to burn so those that are waiting on them should get them soon (technology permitting!)

Baby had a very small wiggle last night, that's 2 in a row now,(nights not wiggles!) hoping to get big definite kicks v. soon.

    Have a lovely day everyone

    Morning all,

Madonna, sorry you were awake so early. Hope you have good things planned for today.

Margot, good luck at the consultant appointment. Another grr to you H from me!

Smiley, my combined test results were the same as yours. It's very reassuring isn't it. Enjoy seeing the baby again today.

Splosh, glad you've been sleeping well. I've had 2 good nights - makes a HUGE difference to my mood.

AFM, nothing much to report. Feel massive today, not sure if it's the baby or bloating from last night's thai curry.Cow Dorothy Perkins has a sale on, I got a couple of maternity tops from the website for aroud 1/2 price yesterday, and Debenhams have another of their 'spectaculars' on until Saturday. Might be worth a look.

    Have a good day x

    Claire, missed you!

Glad you're getting some wiggles now. I seem to get most of mine in the evening. I am hoping it makes for a baby who appreciates lie-ins like it's Mum! Sorry you're still suffering with your throat, have you been to the Docs, is there nothing they can do? No rush for the CD, whenever you can manage is brill.

Morning all Smile Cant really do personals today as on the iPhone and can't figure out how to switch between screens!

Claire, no rush on the CD, just whenever you can manage it! When is it good go start Reading the book and listening to the CD? I'm guessing around 25 weeks?

Sorry some of you aren't sleeping well and good luck for the appointment today Margot!

AFM am getting bigger by the day! People are asking me if I'm sure there's only one in there! No real movements yet but trying to not think about it as I'm only 18+4. Off to London today for a meeting so better dash but I'll be back in a bit!

    Love to all!

    Morning Wave

Madonna - take it easy today if you're tired.  Have you got anything nice planned?

Margot - hope your appointment goes well

Smiley - glad you got good results, let us know how the scan goes

Splosh - yay for a good night's sleep!

Claire - sorry you're still in so much pain, has the doc given you anything for it?

Sshh - I think I might have a browse on the Debenhams site too although I can't afford anything Sad

AFM - 26+4 today and it feels like the time is starting to zoom by!  My back/hip/leg is pretty bad again and I'm struggling in the evenings with M on my own (OH is on a secondment which means he goes away Mondays and doesn't come back until Friday evening).  Only a week until I see my midwife again - it seems like ages between appointments, I've not seen her since 16 weeks!

  • Re: *** Weds 2nd Trimesters ***

Morning all, will be back a little later for personals but thought I'd say hello Wave

Baby has been wiggly as ever, no massive boots but getting more often and stronger as the days go by.

I'm 21 weeks today Eek just don't know where the time has gone already!

    Morning ladies!

Madonna - Hope you get some rest later.

Margot - Hope the appt goes well.  I will never understand the way my H's mind works sometimes.  Mine has booked our car in for its service on one of my work days.  It's fine as he can drop C at nursery and he has got a courtesy car to drive around in.  However, he forgot that the car seat will be in the car and doesn't fit in the Yaris, so he'll need the car back before he can pick C up from nursery.

Smiley - Fab news about the nuchal results.  Hope the scan goes well today.

Splosh - C slept really well on Sunday and Monday night and I had to wake her for nursery.  Today, on my day off, she was wide awake at 6.30 shouting "Muuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee"  Typical!

Claire - Hope your throat gets better soon.

Sshh - I've ordered a few maternity things from Vertbaudet.  I might see if Debenhams have any overbump trousers in their sale, as I hate my underbump ones.

Hep - I hate people asking if there's "only one in there?".  I always want to say "So you think I'm a fattie eh?"

PP - It's hard on your own in the evening isn't it?  It can be quite nice once the toddler is in bed, but bath and bed on your own are tough with a bump.

AFM - I'm ok.  I'm suffering with a cold at the moment (thanks, C).  Today we've got someone coming to repair the cooker and not much else planned.  I don't really feel like going out as I'm so bunged up, so it'll probably be a lazy day.

    Nixxy - Wave

Gah!  C has just discovered how to turn the channel over using the cable box.

    Love to you all,

    C

    Good Morning!!

Madonna - shame about your early wake up call (again) hopefully today will tire you out so you can have a nice sleep tonight

Smiley - hope everything goes well today x

Splosh - glad you are sleeping well, I am too, it makes quite a difference

Claire - well done on the wiggles, x

Shh - THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP I need some new things, so will have a look now x

Hepburn - I'm growing more and more each day now, very glad that my dress is in the alteration shop, no way would it fit now!!

Pixie - sorry you are in some discomfort, roll on friday when your oh is back

Nixxy - 21 weeks, its flying by!!

AFM - I'm loving having my flat back, it seems so big now that the lodger has gone, I was up at 8 (early for me) doing the tidying and dishes and loving it - im sure the novelty will wear off soon. I'm having lots of fun wiggles from Daisy, she loves my rocking chair Smile

Counting down in days now til the big day woop!!

love to people i miss and lurkers, and of course all you early birds xxx

  • Re: *** Weds 2nd Trimesters ***

Hello everyone! No time for personals i'm afraid, i've got so many errands to do today as it's my only day off this week Sad

Our 20 week scan is on March 12th which i'm really looking forward to because we're going to find out the gender. Been having lots of wiggly movements especially in the evenings for some reason, which is lovely Smile Oh, and blood tests all came back fine, with low risk of downs etc. All in all life is good (except for work which is pants as usual)

Hello to everyone who posts after me too, just in case i don't get back online today! Have a lovely day everyone x
