    Good morning!

I say good, as I have the day off and fully intend on going back to bed as soon as I have had some breakfast(I wake up starving nowadays)!

I have my 28 week appointment booked for 2pm, so shall sleep and watch some Olympic ice dancing until then! Big Smile

Oh, I must remember to ask for some kind of wrist support for the Carpal Tunnel as I think it is getting worse. I also must ask about a 30 week scan as people here(in Northern Ireland) keep asking when I am having mine and I have never even heard of it?

I posted on yesterdays thread again, but in case you did not see it I wanted to say hello again to everybody, but especially to you who are new/lurking! Wave

    Have a good day everybody!

Morning nightowl, I havent heard about 30 week scans either. Hope you get some rest on your day off, it's annoying when you still wake up early though!

AFM - sorry not been about much again, as I said before I'd had a hectic week and then yesterday I felt rubbish and didnt really come on at all, just randomly. Blooming SPD was hell yesterday, called the hospital and they couldnt fit me in this week so have to wait til my usual appointment next weds. All very well except I couldnt even get out of the bed yesterday. Hips feel slightly looser today so hoping that me doing absolutely nothing yesterday helped.

    35 weeks!!!

    Morning all,

NO, I haven't heard of a 30 week scan either, it would be a nice bonus though!  Hope your carpal tunnel is better today x

Hug Pip, sorry to hear you've been in so much pain and hope it's a lot easier today

AFM, I've got my presentation scan this morning but I'm pretty sure that the baby is still breech.  I spent the whole of last night hanging off the sofa while H held a bag of frozen peas at the top of my bump in an attempt to get it to turn - at least I've tried everything!  Will pop back this afternoon.

Hope everyone has a lovely Tuesday,

    Vicky 36 weeks x

    Morning all,

NO - hope you are sleeping now, I hate it when I wake up early and I don't have to be up. Hope your 28 week appointment goes well and they can give you some kind of support for your wrist

Pip - sorry to hear your SPD is playing up so badly. Hope you manage to rest again today

Mrs VLL - yay to have started maternity leave. Hope your scan goes well today - will they book you in for a section if baby is still breech?

AFM - have a busy couple of days ahead. Just trying to get everything sorted at work and then have dinner booked with various friends for next three nights - will need a rest come Friday!!!

    Have a lovely day all

Sparkling - hope the monitoring goes well today

Hi to all laters and lurkers

Baby out vibes to those that need them

NO - I hope you have managed to go back to bed.  I've not heard of a 30 week scan either.

Pip - I really hope they can do something for your SPD.  I saw the physio at the hospital and she really manipulated one of my hips and its helped a massive amount.

MrsVLL - good luck with the scan.  Will they try and turn the baby?  Madpuss had a c section because of a breech baby but first of all they tried to turn him.  Don't think it was very comfortable,

CD- Have fun with your friends and try not to over do it.

AFM - Could not get comfortable last night and I had really weird dreams.  One of the oddest was dreaming about getting to the devliery suite at the hospital, it was a bit like a battle from lord of the rings crossed with a carnival and its even weirder because I'm planning a home birth!

NO - Ooh how lovely for you having a day off.  Hope all goes at your appointment this afternoon.  I always keep a blank piece of paper at the front of my mat notes and when I think of questions that I need to ask the MW I write them down so I don't forget.

Pip - Hope the SPD settles down and they can help you next week.

VLL - Now that is an image and I hope your dedication to make baby turn has worked for you.

CD - Sounds like a lovely couple of days ahead, enjoy :)

AD - Hope you have a better sleep tonight without the random dreams.

Well because of the extra long sleep on Sunday night and the numerous naps in the day yesterday it was harder to sleep last night and like AD I have some really weird dreams.  one was my Grandma who died many years ago was trying to drive a car but she couldn't so crashed it on someone's path on the road where I grew up, then a boy stole the car but then it sank as the road turned to custard...

Still feeling rubbish today and I'm not very good at being unwell so hoping that I pick up soon.

Hope you all have a good day.

    Hi,

A quick one from me for now as I hardly slept in the night so worried I was about the scan, will go for a nap while william is and do personals after

We went to see the consultant this morning, she checked the size of the baby and it is not big at all, I am mesuring 32 weeks and I am nearly 35, she scaned me for the position of the baby and it muust have moved recently as it is not oblique anymore, I am so so so so so relieved, it is head down :) I was so worried about sections etc and now i can relax and wait for things to happen.

    Hello everyone

NO - Hope appointment went well and that you have some sort of support arranged for your wrist - I know someone who suffered with joint problems whilst pregnant and afterwards, so make sure you get all the help in place now.

Pip - only 4 weeks to go now for you so hope you get lots of rest to help with your SPD

MrsVLL - Good luck with the scan, my baby was breech until last week, didn't do anything particularly special and didn't feel it turning - not heard the frowen peas thing before though!

CD - enjoy your meals out with friends

AD - am having weird dreams about the birth now too

DS - hope you feel better soon, at least you should get any illness out of way before baby arrives

Moz - great news about baby's position, what a relief.

As I said, baby has turned unexpectedly which although I'm pleased about in one way, in another it means I still have to decide between VBAC or elective, I jump from one to the other.  I just wish I could see into the future to know which option to take! I know noone can make decision for me and noone can predict what will happen, will have a chat with my midwife next week - my main issue is there is a bit of uncertainty over my uterine scar, it may be j shaped which has a slightly higher risk of rupture.  The worrying is always worse on the middle of the night too.

Otherwise, baby moving well but definitely starting to have to slow down now. Still at work up to 38 weeks but only 2 days and an easier day than at home with a toddler!!

Look forward to updates from people later, especially thinking of Sparkling and Eleanor.

    Hi ladies,

I'm back from my scan but baby is still breech, naughty little thing!  I'm seeing a consultant on Thursday to discuss options - I'm going to opt for an ECV to turn the baby as my labour with Jude was so quick and straight forward, I'd like to avoid a section if possible.  The baby's legs are flexed, which apparently helps and they said as it's my second baby an ECV is likely to be successful.  If it doesn't work I will be booked in for a section, but baby getting here safely is the main thing.

Pip, 23rd March is a lovely day to have a baby!  It's Jude's birthday aswell so I'm almost hoping this one chooses another day to arrive.  Good luck with your scan next week -I've never had one past 20 weeks before and I was amazed at how much this now looks like a chubby little baby!

CD, enjoy your nights out and roll on Friday so you can start to relax!

Angeldust, a lord of the rings carnival does sound very odd - hopefully the birth will be much easier than that!

DS, I hope you feel better soon and the random dreams stop x

Moz, well done baby!  I'm glad that you can relax now - perhaps your baby could teach mine a thing or two!

Hello all! Hope your all ok.

Mrs VLL im having problems with a breech baby too, she was breech at 32 weeks and turned at 33 weeks. Im now nearly 35 and she's back t being breech! Little madam! Im back to the hospital at 38+3 weeks for a scan to check her position. If she's still breech il be refusing the EVC due to past issues and birth issues, so looks like a c section would be needed.

Im back to the waiting game again now and enjoying the rest of the pregnancy. Feel like i could sleep on a washing line......

enjoy the rest of your days xx
