  Today I experienced goop!

The starch molecules in the liquid can slide freely over eachother, but when you hit them hard, they try to move too quickly and just grip on to eachother. tres cool stuff! <saddo icon alert> I've always said chemistry was fab.

We went to messy play once and one of my Mummy friends was laughing at me because I messed around with the stuff (haven't heard it called 'goop' before, but I like it) so much I dyed my fingers blue from the food colouring. Apparently if you throw it at the wall, it'll shatter. Incredible.
