Well didn't make the shops as have just spent almost an hour at the Ford garage/ My window wipers decided that they wouldn't turn off at all on Christmas Eve so I thought I would pop up there and see if they could do it in my warranty. They have apparently never seen the fault before so spent ages trying to find out what it is. Hopefully they will get the part tomorrow and I can get the car fixed - thankfully in this weather its that they won't turn off rather than won't turn on!! May try and get to the shops after lunch - will the out of town ones be open til late this week or not?
Man at the garage asked when I was due and then asked if I was having twins? I am not even that big!! Hopefully midwife will meausre me tomorrow, she didn't at 25 weeks which I thought was strange but having asked a friend who had her apparently she doesn't rate the measurements anyway and I guess as I am having an extra scan at 34 weeks they will check for size then anyway.
The sugar ban is everything that contains sugar and sweeteners - harder than I realised!! There was sugar in my urine (as well as protein and white cells) and so she put me on a ban for 3 weeks to see what the next results say and then will make a decision on how to proceed. I can cope with a three week ban if I avoid gestational diabetes and lesson learnt that scoffing my way through several large packs of Haribo a week is not good for me or baby!!
Loubielou - glad you had a good nights sleep. I know the feeling of boredom and not leaving the house - you just get cabin fever after a while! | dragged myself out for a short wander round our local town yesterday just to get some fresh air and exercise. Will the midwife give you a sweep today? I can't imagine how annoying the calls must be - I don't blame you for getting irritated at all
kmw - of course because you are ready and house is tidy baby will be late - isn't it always the way. How late were your two boys? Hope baby arrives soon and you don't go too overdue
GF - am so glad that your H is off and you are getting to spend some time together before baby is born. Sorry to hear you are so uncomfortable - I have to admit that my bed is getting more and more attractive earlier in the day!
Mrs VLL - hello, enjoy your browse round mamas and papas - don't buy the whole shop!! What pram did you go for?
LMH - hope blood pressure is behaving and you are on here later
Pip - hello and welcome to then big girls club (means I am not bottom of the list already - although Pippetta will be here well before baby charliedaisy I am sure!!) As your H is off make the most of it and make him do all the hard work. You just take it easy. We are meant to be redecorating but H is just lazy and I have to nag him to do anything.
Baby out vibes to all who need them
