  Contact Morning all, hope everyone is well and enjoying their break. Not a lot to report here, still a week and a half to go before our scan so just waiting really, and waiting till I go back to work a week today to tell my boss. Had a really good night's sleep which has definitely helped me to feel better and found some lovely maternity clothes in the sales yesterday online so have some more nice goodies heading this way - was a 14/16 when I was pg with J and am a 12 now, so not a lot of my old stuff will fit. My aunt and uncle are coming to visit my parents this afternoon, so will go round there so they can see J, and might have a trip to Toys r Us to see what their sale is like - madness I know but would like to add a few small bits to some of J's christmas presents.   Contact Morning Margot - Have fun at the sales! I bought some maternity jeans and a top in the Next sale yesterday Me - I had a lovely Christmas although think i caught a bug on xmas day because i threw up all my xmas dinner and spent another 2 hours sat on the toilet! And ive not felt as sick since that episode so now of course im worried!! Still dont have a scan date yet, thought i would have by now seen as im registered with the "smaller" hospital of the 2.   Contact Morning ladies! So lovely to be back in my own bed last night. Even if I did wake up 3 times to go for a wee! Like Margot I've got ages to wait, 2 weeks today I'll get my scan making me 14+0 then. I'm gutted it's so late as I'm getting impatient to see mini Motti. Today we're going to tell friends that I'm PG as I feel safe to do so now I've hit 12 weeks. I had wanted to wait till the scan but I just can't wait that long. It's getting so hard to talk to anyone who doesn't know yet! My mission this week while I'm off is to try and find some nice maternity jeans/combats that I can wear for work as my normal jeans are just a bit too tight now and I have to have the button undone!   Contact morning ladies, hope you've all had a lovely christmas.   had my 12 week dating scan on xmas eve and it turns out I was right with my dates - 11 +4today The head sonographer did my scan and he was lovely....at first he couldn't see Rascal very clearly as I've got a retroverted womb? I never knew that! He said if I were his wife he wouldn't be happy with the picture so I had a vaginal scan instead. Rascal wasn't behaving and kept putting it's hand over it's face (which is how I sleep) but we got some fantastic pics! I've just got home from the PIl in Newcastle and am off to work this afternoon so I'll try and scan them in when I get a mo. We told all aour friends and family over xmas and everyone was so pleased. I also bought some maternity jeans in the next sale! I'm getting quite a bump now - I'm going to be bloody massive at this rate! Mummy to Edie born 5 weeks early on 16-06-2010 5lb110z.

  Contact Just crashing to see how you're all doing.  Margot and Nichola, I'm sorry you both have a long wait for your scans.  You should see more though as the baby will be quite a bit bigger. Supernatural, Sorry you were ill over christmas, I'm sure you're just feeling better because the nasty bug has gone.  Hope you get your scan date soon. Kathryn, fab news about the scan, I had a wriggly one too, so much more active than C was at her 12 week scan. Love to you all and can't wait until you move over to 2nd trimester. C x

Glad you've had a good Christmas.   Nic - he's called Gerry, he was so nice! I'd take a book with you, we were there ages and we saw the midwife afterwards which I wasn't expecting to do! Appointment was 9-15 and we didn't leave til almost 11! Yours will come really quick and it's still something to be excited about Mummy to Edie born 5 weeks early on 16-06-2010 5lb110z.

Like Kathryn I had my dating scan on Christmas eve, it was lovely to see Peanut wriggling around again and we got a lovely clear picture. Feeling quite good at the moment but it seems that the tiredness is sticking with me for now. Mrs L & Peanut 14+3 x

  Contact Hi Lovely Ladies, I have'nt been on for a while and I'm glad that everyone seems to be doing well. Hope Christmas was perfect for everyone. I'm back at work - which is very quiet so yeh - time for personals Margot - Well done in braving the sales. Glad to hear that it was a success! Super - Sorry you ''lost'' your Christmas dinner. Its wierd reaching double figures isn't it!!Sorry you are still waiting on a scan. Nichola - I'm up about 2-3 times a night too. I'm getting good at NOT stubbing my toes anymore :)  So sorry to hear you have to wait so long for your scan - it will be so worth t though being able to see a nearly perfectly formed baby!! Kathryn - your scan sounds like it was wonderful. Conanetta -  Hope to see you soon in about 3 weeks Mrs Lord - Hope to see you over on the 2nd Trimester thread soon xx Me: A lot has happened since I posted last.  We had our first scan and were able to see the baby, the heart beating and listen to it and see him/her moving arms and legs! Totally amazing.  We told my PIL and my SIL over Christmas - GUESS WHAT - my SIL then came out and said that they are also expecting (their 2nd). My poor PIL were in shock!!!! We are 4 weeks in front of them so its going to be a mad Summer 2010! I'm flying home with H for New Years and can't wait to tell my family then.   Contact Hi everyone! My first post on the 1st trimester thread!  Exciting! Got my BFP on boxing day.  I think I'm somewhere between 4 and 5 weeks.  Feeling exhausted and sore already, not helped by having a cold and a 2 year old to look after.  Nice and reassuring to have symptoms though.   Contact Hi all!! Sorry ive not been on for ages, been stressing with our wedding racing towards us, 11 weeks on friday!! Ive got my scan on weds, I CANT WAIT!! Its going to be interesting to know if my dates are right or if i'm futher along than we think (its a big possibility!!) I'll finally be able to meet Piglet! Glad that everyone's xmas went without a hitch (a little bit of sickness isnt too bad I guess, I was the same on xmas night   ) Now thats all over, whats everyones plans for NYE? I would chase up your scan date - I did and was pleased I did as the paperwork hadn't got through. Nichola - glad you have made your announcement, good luck shopping, I've ordered from Mamas and Papas and George at Asda - might be worth a look. Kath - glad your scan went well!   Contact Hi back after a few days away, was able to read threads on ipod, but not respond for some reason on this site!!  Boobs are starting to feel like proximity mines - anything comes near them and i'm sure they will explode! Margot - can't belive you are hitting the sales, brave mad woman!
