hi missdeedee, how are you? haven't had much time to post on here recently, job has been meeeega busy! am supposed to be working on some fascinating spreadsheet as we type....
firstly, if anyone wants to take this on, then please go ahead and be my guest. the only reason i mentioned it was cos i coordinated it last year, but am acutely aware that i'm not spending as much time on here as previously (or as much as i would like
) so am more than happy to hand over the reins if someone would particularly like to coordinate? otherwise i'm more than happy to keep on keeping on?
the way i did it last year: we all agreed on categories (i have last year's somewhere) and added and took off the list as we thought. then, people copied and pasted the categories, nominated a hitcher for each category (or as many categories as they wanted to nominate someone for...) and then i collected all the votes by email. we left about 2 weeks for voting (jem179, you'll be fine!).
the only rule was you couldn't nominate yourself for any of the categories, though one hitcher either forgot or ignored this rule and nominated herself in the best dress category! (i didn't count her vote....)
we then set a date for the 'awards' and i just put loads of different threads up with the awards.
and there you have it.
if everyone wanted to do it, we could probably 'organise' it for the beginning of december sometime.
