  Thoughts on these names please

  Contact I'm trying to convince H on some names and would be interested in others' views: Benedict Julius/Julian Marcus (not keen on Mark though so may be out! Love Marcus though) Montague/Montgomery (not too keen on either tbh but love Monty as a shortened form) Guy Giles Dominic   H has vetoed Inigo which was my favourite. Git. He's not keen on the above either but I think he might be won over purely because he dislikes them less than Inigo. There's at least one Benedict (current frontrunner) at nursery already, albeit older (obviously, as this one isn't born yet!) but I'm determined to avoid another Alexander situation where every other boy seems to be called Alex. I've no idea if this is a boy or not but seem to be drawn to boys names again. I'd be interested in similar names too.

  Iris Joined on 14-Aug-2006 United Kingdom Posts 7,255	Contact I know a Julius, he's nearly 3 and his big brother is called Alexander. Benedict is quite nice too. How about Henry, William, Fred(erick)/(die), Samuel (only one in the school year), Oliver, Sebastian. Substantially less confused now.

I like Sebastian too but it's vetoed. To be honest, the Simpsons have scuppered a number of my choices - Homer, Bartholemew are both out and Monty is a bit risky! I do like Samuel but there are a lot around here. If H has his way it will be called Bob, probably regardless of gender.
