  Contact there seem to be a lot of new names since the last time i was on here. (been so busy recently ive been neglecting hitched....bad hitcher!) come on and tell us all about it (dont be shy) im littlemissscatterbrain. me and mr scatterbrain met 7 years ago come september we're getting married in 27 days!! colour scheme is navy ivory and burnt orange theme- i dont have one yet! (any suggestions welcome!!) xxx

  Contact hey there im anglefish have been with other half 5 years in nov on my birthday, were getting married on new years eve next year it feels sooooooooo long away i would love teal but cant find any dresses so still looking for our colour and theme but were having different sweets for our centre pieces and naming the tables after the sweets retro sweets from when we were little. trying to keep the costs down as im sure everyone is lol im very excited about all this weddding stuff we chose my engagement ring last week and iv got to wait 2 to 4 weeks for it boo x

  Contact If ive learnt one thing its how quickly it all come round, everyone tells you that and you dont quite believe them but trust me it really does! we got engaged on the 2nd sept last year we were getting married in april 2010 but i couldnt wait that long so in january we brought the wedding forward to september year. i remember someone else on here was having teal and had an aboslute nightmare trying to find everything to match because there was so many different shades of it. i was at a wedding last weekend and the bridesmaids were in dark turquoise, the dresses were really gorgeous, ill see if i can find a pic x

OH proposed in November last year and we planned the wedding for 25th June next year, and the time has just flown by, but I didnt even notice it passing, kept thinking ill start planning soon but got ages yet, then about two weeks ago suddenly realised it was only 10 months!! 'Tis flying by now! Our colour scheme is baby pink - other half choice, its his fav colour, bless him! x Married 25th June 2010

  Contact We've been very slow getting our acts together - we've been together 5 years, engaged for 3 and a half.  We set the date about 2 years ago (111 days to go!) but deliberately left ages because we didn't even have anywhere to live together at that point and I was still on a training contract! Colour scheme is bottle green, ivory and silver. No theme really, just loads of random stuff that we both really like so it might work or it might be a mess of different ideas!

  Contact Hi all, I met my fella at work, we've been together 6 years next month. We have a 20 month old little girl. I proposed to him last Feb (leap year) and got myself a temporary ring, I am having a pink diamond ring made for my real engagement ring. We decided to get wed around August 2011 but I have mithered a bit to get the ball rolling. We have a week off work at the end of this month and are going to look at some venues. I thought we'll get that booked and then I can leave it for a bout a year but I already have wedding fever - eek! xxx

  Contact Hi everyone, I have been with my OH for nearly 4 years now, we are getting married on 26th June 2010 and this will be my 2nd time as i was really stupid and got married when i was 23 (biggest mistake i ever made but i guess you learn from your mistakes eh?) i am so much more excited about this wedding than my last and i am very determined to have the things i want this time and not what other people think i should! We are very laid back and just want the day to be fun - there will only be 15 people (including us) at the ceremony and then we will invite anyone and everyone to the evening reception!!!

  Contact Hey all, Me and my OH have been together 10 years and engaged for 2 and a half, but we only just set the date - for June 2011 - a month ago! That's mostly cos we live at opposite ends of the country and have been saving like mad over the last few years to buy a place together before we get married. Our colours are going to be navy/midnight blue with a hint of pink and we've got a bit of a 1940's theme (well it'll be more 'vintage' really I think!) going on. Also planning lots of DIY, to keep costs down and make it more personal too!

All you oldies know me well, but for the newbies- My name is Zippy aka Vicki (or should that be the other way round?) I am 29, met h2b 2 yrs ago today. Got engaged March 08 and we get wed August 7th next yr. So nearly 2 and half yrs from engagement to wedding but for all those who worry about time - the last 18 months have flown! Our colour scheme is sage green and ivory with no particular theme, just things that are 'us' like our VW camper for transport, and retro sweets for favours, and surf beaches for table names. Welcome all you newbies.
