Hello lovely ladies on this gorgeous morning,

Sorry I've been awol this week but not been online at all as been off work. Well big news is that we have one, amazingly loved embryo on board Big Smile The week has been really tough emotionally and has mainly been centred around waiting for phone calls from the clinic, travelling to the clinic and drinking lots of water to stave off OHSS. Feeling fine now though.

Egg collection went well and we got enough eggs for both ourselves and the donor couple of get a good shot at it. Luckily our lot of the eggs had a fertilisation rate of about 85% and most the embryos went on to develop well so we're lucky enough to have quite a few to freeze too Smile

WF - saw your fantastic news as well so fingers crossed for you too my lovely Babydust

Does anyone have any tips for the 2ww? I've come back to work today and planning on continuing life as normal, albeit with no strenuous exercise, heavy lifting etc etc.

Widdle - good luck for test day!!!!! {babydust] Babydust

Also love to all the other DTCers, especially on Mother's Day Hug Hoping and praying that we're all celebrating it next year.

Also congrats to all the DTC graduates who are celebrating their first Mother's Day this weekend. What a special day for you all.

    Hi PB

Hope you don't mind me popping on - I have been looking out for your update all week!! Big Smile

So exciting you have your little embie in your tummy.  I went back to work during the 2WW and glad I did as it took my mind off things (a bit!!).  Relax, put your feet up, drinks lots of water - I was also advised to drink 2 litres a day and 1/4 litre of milk.

Good luck for the next two weeks - I am thinking of you xxxx

    Love to everyone else xx

Thanks Spange Thanks I've been drinking loads of water and milk already this week so guess I'll just keep doing that then. I came to work thinking it'll take my mind of things but I've spent most of the morning day dreaming about getting a BFP and having a Christmas baby and I'm already analyzing every twinge. I'm going to be a nightmare aren't I? Laugh

How are you doing? Have you had your 12 week scan yet? Must be so exciting for you.

Bless you PB - I know what you mean about the day dreaming and the twinges!!!

My 12 week scan is next Friday.  I did have one last week at the EPU as I had some complications but thankfully all is well with both of the little monkeys.  I am excited but still quite nervous, especially after last week, but hopefully after the scan next week I can relax!!

    You take care of yourself!!

    xx

Woo-hoo for PB! hat's great news, I'm glad all has gone well. I am so hopeful for both you and WF with your beautiful embryos on board. Take it as easy as you can, eat well, lots of water, and lots of hoping too!

WF and CJJ and Ball - hope you're all doing ok too! Has anyone started treatment yet that I've missed? KTC - do you get started soon?

Spange - nearly 12 weeks, weher has time gone?! Sorry you had a scary time last week and hope you can relax after the scan next week.

Wave Goldfish! Hope you're doing ok

I'm now 11 days post IUI#3. On the last two cycles I'd started spotting by now, so the cyclogest is obviously helping to extend my luteal phase at least. I have been an absolutely mare for the last 3 days though. Honestly, totally bad mood and feeling down, trying to internalise it rather than take it out on my H, as I know it's hormonal Laugh Who knows what that is all a sign of, but I'm blaming everything on the cyclogest. Expecting AF to appear over the weekend, but if it doesn't I've been told I can't test until 21 days after IUI due to the HCG interfering with HPT... stops me POAS anyway!

    Hi ladies,

Brill news PB.  I really hope your dreams come true. When is your test day?

Sorry to be a misery but for some reason I'm feeling really low today.  I think it's just a combination of looking after H all week, all the stress of the last 5 days waiting for phone calls every morning, and the drugs.  I just can't imagine it working today. I know, I know, I should be positive and I have an embryo on board, but at the moment I'm just a bit of a mess.  I'm sure I will feel better tomorrow.

    Love to you all xxxxxx

pink beret - that is absolutely fantastic news!  As the others have said take it easy, drink lots and be very good to yourself.  Have everything crossed for you.

spange - hello.  Really pleased everything is going well.

goldfish - hello.  Really hope it is your month Kiss

widdle - have everything crossed for you too.  21days - that is a lifetime!!!!

welshfrank - it is such an emotional rollercoaster it is understandable you have down days, particularly with the added stress of your dh's accident.  Try and take it easy and relax.

cjj - hello glad the injections are going well.  My first one is tonight, very nervous, but has to be done!

    Hello to all the lurkers.

special Hug to Widdle,PB and WF

    No news here

JACK: Not for nothing, Jen. But it's only since you've been seeing a psychologist that I'm starting to think you may be in fact crazy. JEN: You wanna go to New York, Jack? JACK: Yes. JEN: Then shut up and watch the fish.

Big hugs for WF Hug I can imagine that the day after ET can be a bit of an anticlimax... for the past week or two you've always had a very close next step to focus on - to get to the next scan or phone call or embryo update. And then suddenly you can just see a wide open 2 week space in front of you, and no possible progress updates to top up your hope. But it can and does happen, and I hope icw's news has picked up up a bit!! Have a really good long sleep tonight and hopefull things will seem brighter tomorrow Hug
