  • Fish bowls

I can't decide what table centrepieces to go for. One option is the fish bowl with a flower arrangement inside but a lot of the pictures I've seen tend to have cala lillies or one or two gerberas in and I was wondering whether anyone has come across pictures of any other flowers used in the bowls?

I've just been searching table decorations and center pieces (see my post below) and have seen lot's of these about with pretty much every flower under the sun in. Seems like there is loads you can do with them, withe put flowers in water in them as above or have no water and the flowers just sort of twisted inside the bowl. They do look great on tables i think

This is one I did with orchids and bear grass.  Another idea is to double decker the bowls and fill the lower one with flower petals and the top one with flowers.  This one had glass rocks in the bottom.

Here's mine - not a great pic but you'll get the idea.  We had stones from my hometown's beach at the bottom.  We bought the bowls for £4 each and the florist filled them for £10.  We gave them away as gifts to people who had helped in some way towards the wedding.....

ROTFL I had the awful thought that I were about 4 years old, and these were on the tables at a wedding, the night would probably end with me being told off for stirring them up with a stick from the garden, or something awful like that!

Well I guess the goldfish would match my colour scheme.....only kidding Big Smile.

There's some really great ideas on here, thanks people! Will go back to my florist and see what she thinks.
