  • DTC Ladies - Happy New Year

What can i say ladies, we are still here. I believe this year is going to be a good year for us. We have to stay positive.

Some ladies on here have had some terrible news over the last few months so we have to keep them strong with our PMA. It will happen again for them.

For all the ladies that are starting IVF like myself - Good luck. We will need to keep each other sane as i know i'm scared so i know how you feel.

Lets hope 2009 brings us what we have longed for for so long.

    xx

Hey Spring.  Sending you masses of HugHugHug and +++++ vibes for a successful IVF treatment and a very happy 2009.

Lots of love to all my other DTC buddies.  I will be wishing hard for all of us this year and hoping that there will be a lot more tears of happiness than tears of heartbreak.

    Love

    Thanks Spring!Kiss

As it is NYD I am being a sofa monster and lying with my laptop and a big box of shortbread so lots of time to Hitch Smile.  I think I have single handedly managed to keep the supermarkets of West Sussex afloat this last week!

Laugh Good girl. We didn't get up until late (the positive side of not having Children) and then had 'Breakfast' so now just slobbing out on the sofa. Got a pile of ironing to do but i'm convincing myself that those sort of things shouldn't be done on New years day. I've heard that's the law!!

Oh yes!  No washing, no ironing, no cooking, no cleaning.  Just lying around in slob out clothes watching trashy telly.  I still have a fridge full of cold turkey - the stuff is never ending.  Maybe that's what next week will feel like when I'm back at work and in the world of reality - 'cold turkey' Laugh

Hey Goldfish!  Ooo, I lurve clearing out my wardrobes.  It always make me feel so virtuous.  Although I put it all in bags, shove it in the garage and then have second thoughts about half of it a week later.  The best advice is dispose of it quickly.  Before you start getting it all out again!

Would you like some virtual shortbread girls.  I also have a half eaten tin of Roses and a packet of Family Favourites from Sainsbury's if you are interested? xxx

Yup!  Done that!  And a risotto and sandwiches and fed a load to our cat.  I swear the stuff is multiplying everytime we put it back in the fridgeLaugh

no leftover turkey here as we were away at christmas but plenty of chocolate - whole tin of quality street, after eights, celebrations etc - not helping the new years resolution of not eating so much cr*p!!

That's exciting - best of luck with that!

Are you having treatment on the NHS or private?

Another quick ? if you don't mind - have you exercised at all during downregging?  I really enjoy the gym/running but Zita West  (and have read elsewhere)  that exercise during downregging isn't a good idea and suggests walking/yoga.  I am planning to switch to yoga/pilates but I was wondering if swimming would be okay as well??

Hope to hear your good news soon xx
