We've just potty trained Tyler and used a sticker chart. Alll I did was write each day (for a week) with lines so it looked like this:
mon
________________________________________________________
tues
_______________________________________________________
etc....
He then got a sticker for every wee or poo in the potty, he also got a circle around the sticker if it was a poo ( more to help me remember) For the first few days i also kept a seperate chart for myself which tracked accidents but he didn't know about this one. It helped me to know how many accidents were on the way to the potty adn things like that.
I got lots of different stickers which he got to choose from each time and made a big fuss of it. We also had a song we sang about him being a super star
We're now into week three and we've slowly stopped rewarding for everything. But if he asks for a sticker then he still gets one and we still always sing the song. I just didn't want it to continue to be reward focused if that makes sense.
Good luck!
