Morning heartnurse, hope you're ok!

I can't see another thread...

Not bad here, had nice early night last night but then madam decided to wake and kick me from about 5:30 until 6:15 this morning, and I had to get up then anyway - so not feeling as rested as I might!  Working today so no chance for a nap, but at least no running around after a toddler either!

Nugget v active as always - think I might be growing another spirited one - gulp!

I haven't been on early enough the last few days to post but I have been reading everyone's news.

Congratulations to Dilly and her family.

Vindaloo - hope you manage to sit down and take a breath at some point today

I have had this cold virus that has been going around but I am much better now. I even took a couple of days off work (unheard of for me) but I thought I needed to look after myself a bit!!!

My SPD is not too bad and I am getting used to the belt.

I am "working from home" today, which is almost impossible in my field of work but I am so grateful to my boss. We are FINALLY going to have a new boiler (hurrah for heating and hot water) after almost 6 weeks without. The engineer is here already so fingers crossed it will be an easy enough job for him.

Well I had a v lazy day yesterday which is unlike me but was just what I needed. Didn’t feel like seeing anyone or doing anything, so I sat in front of the tv eating chocolate, people keep telling me to take it easy so I did! Feeling more like me today though, which is good as I have our weekly lunch with the NCT ladies and it would be a shame to miss that. It’ll be odd though as I’m now the only one with a bump, just found out the other remaining bump went into labour this morning, so I get top priority in cuddling the babies to get things going. Also got the mw this afternoon, baby was 4/5 engaged last week so hoping we’re a bit further along now. And I’ll find out if I need more iron tablets, I made the mistake of asking if I still needed them last week which meant another blood sample being taken, my least favourite thing <wimp icon>

Heartnurse - relax and enjoy your time off. You need to make the most of it!

Vindaloo - I hope they don't turn out to be too spirited although feeling the movements is lovely.

Rusty - I wish I could work from home but I don't think I could fit my class in my living room.

Mrs E - fingers crossed you are further along and hopefully no more blood samples.

Me - I am shattered! I normally am at this time of year andyway so can't really blame pregnancy. We have had three days of concerts which is always stressful. Not helped by H coming home at 3.30am yesterday drunk after his xmas party. Who has parties on a school night. I am still mad at him - long story - so the atmosphere at home isn't great. I haven't felt many movents from Splodge and had period type pains last night - I am going to see how it goes and hope it was just the running around I have been doing. I thought I read on here about a 28-29 week slow down - is that right?

morning, just a quick one as I am running low on battery on the laptop and in myself today.

Obviously home made scotch broth is not good for E, we had a really really troubled night last night, I ended up lying in his room with him all night so am hoping that we get to go back to bed soon,

Vindaloo - sorry to hear your night wasn't as restful as it could have been. I know the feeling but mine was more to do with a husband with man flu!

Emsie - try and get some rest today, is it possible that maybe because you have been so busy you haven't noticed the movements so much? I know that was the case for me just before I finished work. But do call your mw if you are still worried

I'm feeling a little frustrated today, I was getting a lot of hypo's so the diabetes team changed the insulin I'm on to try and help stop this. Of course it takes some time to settle but yesterday I ran constantly high and as a result had a cracking headache! Oh well, trying to think positively that things will be better today!

Another one that's shattered here.  Went out with a friend last night which was lovely but we didn't eat until about 9.30 ish and I just couldn't get to sleep because I'd eaten too much and too late.  Off to Ikea today with MIL to take back the blackout blind for the nursery which had a hole in it when I opened it.  See what other little treasures I can find.  Then off to MW this pm for another blood pressure and urine test.  But all was fine on Tuesday so not expecting anything else to be honest.

Luckily we both have showers at work so been getting up early to have one. This does involve some odd looks from the cleaners when I turn up at the office in my PJ's! We've been given some electric heaters too. Good old fashioned boiling the kettle/water in a pan otherwise.

I thank god that we rent our place, I dread to think how much this would cost!

All ok here but has been a manic week as boss is over from US and we have been interviewing for my maternity cover.  Finally managed to get on here so hello everybody. 2nd antental class tonight and discussing labour so will have to pull my head out of the sand. Lots of movements from Squish and nursery is nearly done so feeling very organised.  Only 18 working days left before I leave on ML.

Sorry no personals today, hope you're all well and congratulations to Dilly.

I saw the midwife yesterday who said baby is engaged in pelvis.  I am having period type cramps and pressure down below so she thinks it could not be long now!  Put me in a bit of a panic last night and ended with big row with H about be snapping etc.  Resulted in me crying for hours so big puffy eyes today!  Feeling a lot better though and talked things through with H.

Could I have some baby out vibes for the next week please.  It would be lovely to have the baby by Christmas and I am very excited now!  Hope the midwife is right!
