Free Audiobooks on mp3?

I would like to download a book to listen to on train journeys etc. Itunes do them but they are quite expensive (more than the book itself sometimes!) - have you used any (legal) download sites for this that you can recommend?

I downloaded a couple on a free trial with audible (www.audible.co.uk) and the selection/quality was good.

You have to sign up for an account but I just cancelled it once I'd downloaded what I wanted.

audible.co.uk give you some free credits if you register with them.  At least they did  a few months ago.  I got a couple of books from them that way. You do need to ring up to cancel your subscription though (you can't cancel it online) before they start to charge you.

Then cancelled once you'd downloaded what you wanted?  And you got to keep the books?

I just did this.  Registered, and then got a message saying "Thanks.  Your registration is confirmed and your card has been charged £14.99".

OK, so I'm going to download the 4 audiobooks available, then cancel my subscription.

Any recs on what's good?  I'm a lover of Chick Lit really but am open to anything else...
