    Hi Everyone

Couldn't see another 2nd tri post - where is everyone!

Nothing much to report here ... saw my belly moving for the first time last night - both BBs were kicking so it was flinching on both sides Fluffy - Amazing!

Good luck to anyone having scans today.

    Wave Morning BG!

My bump has suddenly grown almost overnight, I now look pregnant instead of fat which is nice! Baby has been moving lots over the last couple of days, it's been lovely as this baby has been so quiet up until now, I can see the movements on my tummy too!

SPD is still nasty, I just feel so stiff and miserable all the time. I'm trying to take it easy but I'm very tempted to go back to my lovely GP and ask to be reffered for physio asap rather than waiting 4 weeks like my midwife suggested.

I hope everyone is having a good week, I'm taking M swimming today and really looking forward to floating about weightless for a while.

    Morning!

BG, wow, that must be amazing, to see your belly moving!! You should video it for prosperity!

Celeste, sorry to hear that your SPD is so bad, you must be in agony Hug Enjoy the swim today.

I'm good today, feeling really fed up with work and starting to countdown already which makes me a proper saddo Laugh

    Lots of love to everyone,

    Beedle (14+4 - I think I'm going with this date for a bit...) x

    Morning everyone,

Tried to get on earlier but hitched wouldn't load for some reason!

Bond Girl isn't it just fab when you can actually see everything moving?  I loved it last time, can't wait this time!

Celeste yay for a bump!  But bah to the SPD.  Go get referred, you don't want it getting worse.

Beedle glad you're ok, and I can understand the countdown thing, I was like that last time round (although this time I'm quite enjoying being here!)

Not much to report here, definitely getting bigger kicks now that I can feel from the outside (and H reckons he's felt one too which is nice).  Feel a bit rubbish today though as Amber might be having her MMR jab and I'm working so can't go with her - H is with her but I wish I could be there.  On the plus side though she took her first steps yesterday Cheers

Anyway have a lovely day everyone!

Ohhh Annie, you may make it onto 3rd tri before I leave it then! Am so excited for you honey. Will you find out at your scan?

BG It's great when you can see it isn't it. I'm sure Madam has more limbs than she should as she seem's to be everywhere at once.

Celeste, am so with you on the SPD front. I got signed off again and my collegues are being bitches about it but I'm so bloody sore (and tired)

Vindaloo Yay for Amber, clever girl. Sorry you feel a bit rubbish, I know I always wanted to be there when Joe had his jabs too Hug

Beedle That's not sad, I have a countdown on my desktop, although not for her due date cos with it being Xmas day I know exactly how far away it is, mine is for actually leaving work!

Love to you all, I'll bugger off to 3rd tri again now

    Love JOdie

    Morning all,

Vindaloo - congrats on your daughters first steps. What a milestone!

BG - I can't wait to see/feel that (tho I can imagine it's a bit odd at first!)

Celeste - my bump burst like that too - enjoy the pool.

Beedle - I feel like I am wishing my life away too.

Annie - wow! Nearly halfway - congrats!

Me - I have been on cloud nine since our scan yesterday. Movements are getting stronger now as well and hopefully H will be able to feel them soon. I have told my class as well and one of the boys started crying as he thought I wouldn't be coming back to work after mat leave (I wish!) and he's 10! Really looking forward to the weekend and seeing parents and PIL to show off pics and bump! MIL is insistent we look at baby things - it's a hard life Laugh

Sorry to those I've missed and good luck to those with scans.

    Morning ladies,

BG - aww, that must be so fantastic to see.

Celeste - ooo, another mover!  SPD sounds horrible, hope you get the physio soon.  Enjoy the swimming!

Beedle - does seem a little early to start counting down, but can understand Laugh

Vindaloo - nice that H is starting to feel kicks now, and yey for Amber taking her first steps - that must have been amazing for you to see!

anniesgator - wow, half way through tomorrow - that must feel like a bit of a milestone

    Dilly - Wave

Emsie - Fab that you're feeling so great after your scan yesterday, and sounds like you have a really lovely class there.

I'm feeling a bit rubbish today, after being really tired yesterday that I could easily have fallen asleep at my desk, I hardly slept last night so feel worse.  As long as I can still stand later I'm planning on going to the gym (first time for nearly 2 months due to all my spotting, although nearly 2 weeks without any now) - hopefully that will completely tire me out so I sleep better tonight, as well as make me feel better about feeling so fat lately!

    Have a lovely day everyone

    Hello all!

BG - It must be really bizaare to see both babies moving. Can you tell the difference between them or is it all just one big kicking?

celeste - sorry to hear about the SPd, swimming will be lovely I took emily last week. Didn't notice the weightless in the pool but as soon as I got out I felt bump really heavy ! enjoy

    hi beedleWave

Vindaloo - what perfect timing for amber to lear to walk as you get bigger how considerate of her! Although now you'll have to chase her everywhere!

anniesgator - we must be due date twinnies as I am 20wks tomorrow too.

    hi Dilly

emsie - so pleased for you that you had a great scan, enjoy shppping for baby things how lovely.

Deedee - hope you sleep much better tonight hun. Not getting sleep really does make the day so much worse.

Me - well i'm feeling good which is great. got my 20wk scan tomorrow though and am getting extremely worried about it now. Due to a genetics issue I have to have the scan at St mary's in manchester with the sonographer, consultant and genetics counsellor to rule out any chromosomal problems. I have had a very low risk nuchal scan though which is a great relief. Also really looking forward to hopefully becoming "normal" after the scan and being transferred back to community care and not consultant care an hr away! i know I'll never sleep tonight though.

    Enjoy your days

    Hello ladies

BG - my belly did that last week.  To feel it is amazing, but to see something as well freaked me out a little.  It is cool though.

celeste - i'm sorry your SPD is bad.  Maybe swimming will help a little?  have fun today.

beedle - you're not a saddo, I am sure we all started our countdown from the beginning.  I know i did! hope your day gets better.

vindaloo - yay for the first steps!  i bet you felt very proud.

anniesgator - congratulations! half way there.

Dilly - how long have you got left at work?  will you be having much time off beforehand?   sorry for your SPD too.

EmsieS - Did you find out what flavour you are having?  just remember, the  movements will only get stronger so your H will definitely be able to feel and see them.

DeeDee75 - Hope you do feel better later but take it easy at the gym.

as for me, i have nothing new to report. Didnt have an exceptionally good nights sleep, i just cant get comfortable in bed.  I think i need to invest in a support pillow for my H's sake as well as my own  Laugh.   apart from that i am feeling great and couldnt be better.

Hi everyone, I'm in a bit of a bad mood recently hence not being around - I heard that my pets that I rehomed with what I thought would be a good home died within 6 months. I'm really miffed/sad about it as I put a lot of thought and research into it and there's nothing I can do about it now Sad. I'm also slightly irritated by my pregnant sister because if I say I'm scared about something like my upcoming scan or not wanting to think so far ahead with big purchases yet due to my DTC status, she says she's the same, about feeling scared too. But I just want to say it's not the same thing - it took her one accident and she hasn't had any bleeding scares and she hasn't had her 20 week scan yet so no it's not the same as up to this point it's very smooth sailing for her, not even MS. But I bit my tongue and don't say anything because I know I'm not being a very good sister and not very charitable if I did. So it's good to be able to rant a little here even if IABU. On the baby front, all good, I feel much bigger, have put on a stone and a half already Eek and baby kicks frequently everyday, especially if I've just eaten - either she likes the food or she's getting the feel good hormones from me liking the food Laugh.

BG - love hearing about your twin bump and can't wait to see the moves too.

Celeste - great that your bump is coming along nicely. Definitely don't suffer in silence and go back to GP about your SPD.

Beedle - I don't blame you for counting down, so am I and even my H - it's contagious Laugh. Such a big event though.

Vindaloo - it's nice when your H can feel the kicks too - my H has a few times too but I'm waiting for bigger hefty ones.

Anniesgator - lovely to see you here, glad everything is going well.

Dilly - hello 3rd tri lady - hope everything is good for you and madam sounds like an active gymnast!

Emsie - lovely to hear about your scan again, isn't that sweet about your class too ;-)

  • Re: *** Tuesday 2nd Trimester Post ***

Oh missed some posts whilst I was slowly typing...

Deedee - it's natural to feel so sleepy at that stage. I remember being the same, in fact I even put my head down at my desk and snoozed for a bit. Don't overdo the gym - you're pregnant, not fat!

Kefty - good luck with your scan tomorrow, I can imagine how worried you must feel so I'll send you lots of positive vibes for now.

Poppyseeds - I'm the same in bed, and have bought a couple of pillows which seem to be working. In fact my bed is now like a nest - so comfortable Laugh.

    Hello!

BG: Woohoo for seeing your belly move, it's ace isn't it. I've found that if i knock on the side of the bath under the water, it's guaranteed to get Ribena kicking

Celeste: get yourself referred love. I have a belly belt and it helps no end with my spd, you don't want to leave it til a stage where you need crutches or whatever

Beedle: Glad all is well. Hope work doesn't get you down too much

Vindaloo: Woohoo for Amber's 1st steps. Hope the MMR goes well. Calum was certainly fine with it.

Anniesgator: hurray for 20 weeks tomorrow!

Dilly: Hellloooooo! how is it on 3rd tri? I'm joining you all on Friday i think

Emsie: Glad your scan was great!

Deedee75: Hope you feel better after the gym, take it easy though. And you're not fat, you're pregnant!!

Kefty: Hope your scan goes well tomorrow, everything crossed!

Poppyseeds: A support pillow is great. I have a 'bump' one (it's two wedges, joined by a strip of fabric so you don't need to shift everything about if you turn over) and a pillow between my knees. They're very comfortable!

Haagweg: Glad all is well on the baby front. Re your sister, i totally totally understand but i guess everything is seen from your own perspective if you see what i mean!

All well here! Not much to report on the baby front really. I have gone cold turkey on sitting in Calum's room to get him to sleep and the 1st night was absolutely AWFUL but last night was dead easy so am feeling pleased with myself! Off work this week and C is at nursery so am enjoying the peace and quiet this morning!

BG: How amazing seeing your tummy move Smile  I think I am close to be able to feel kicks from outside as Sausage was having a good move round last night when I got home.

Celeste: Hope you get some physio sorted out. I would go to GP now and not wait another 4 weeks.  May take a while to get referred.  The bump bands are very helpful as well.

Beedle: When do you finish for ML?

Vindaloo: I am sure Amber will be fine with his daddy.  Bless her taking her first steps

Anniesgator: I remember celebrating when I got to 20 weeks Big Smile  Treat yourself to something naughty but nice.

Dilly: Hope you are well and enjoying the 3rd Tri.  See you over there in 6 weeks Big Smile

Emsie: Enjoying showing your scan pics off.  I do copies of our scan pics for the grandparents and even have the best one one on my phone Laugh

Deedee75: Re feeling fat, my H keeps telling me off for saying that about myself Laugh  But it is a baby in there and you will start to show before you know it.  Having a swim is good for feeling tired and sleepy.

Kefty: Good luck for your scan tomorrow and hope you get passed back to community care afterwards.

Poppyseeds: I got a support pillow from an ebay shop for about £18 inc postage and it is brilliant. Really helps to get a good nights sleep.

Haagweg: Sorry to hear you haven't been in a great mood recently but come and rant at us anytime.  Re the weight thing, I have gained 2 stone already.  Apparently it levels off a bit in the 3rd trimester.  H told me off for eating a Greggs Sausage Roll yesterday saying baby is going to be born with health issue Laugh.  Would believe him if I ate them all the time or ate junk food all the time which I don't by any stretch.  We can do WW together afterwards Wink

All good here apart from H working nights again this week and work doing my head in Sad  Our IT dept is based in Chicago and they seem to have forgotten how to use the telephone.  Had another listen on doppler last night at bedtime and heard him/her moving around and had to keep chasing the heartbeat - was great fun and a great bonding experience.  Had a very wierd dream about breast milk and my left boob was covered in milk Laugh  Baby was very active last night and could almost feel from the outside.

Hugs to anybody I have missed

    Nat 22+1 xx
