  • Your most bridezilla moment so far

Just for fun as I was laughing at myself earlier.

mine was just after we had booked our original venue, when my brother announced that not only was he going to get married 2 weeks before me, but that they were going to book the same venue! This was all relayed to me by my parents and boy did I hit the roof. I ranted, I raved, I was going to cancel my booking and loose the deposit! My poor parents were desperately trying to console me. Eventually I calmed down, and as it happened the venue lost their lease hold and cancelled my wedding and it is now three weeks after my brothers both at a different venues so it was all a drama over nothing

This has been my worst bridezilla reaction so far, what was yours?

Hehehe, I can understand you being upset at that.  I don't think I was very bridezilla really.  I guess the worst thing (well, to any outsiders anyway) would be me telling my sister what colour hair to have as she was a bridesmaid.  There was a reason, but without knowing it, that probably sounds very bridezilla   :)

My daughter wasnt very happy when one of her best friends announced (out of the blue) she was getting married 1 week after my daughter. She wanted the same venue, same singer. same saxaphone player and very simalair style dress. My daughter felt awful for feeling so angry, but a lot of the guests will be the same and she just felt her wedding would be just forgot about. Dont know if she should feel like this but i can see where she's coming from. x

Any one having Sophie Tollie dress Bonnie, this is the one  my daughters chose.

Mine (so far) has to be bursting into tears after an argument with Debenhams over suit hire, and having to leave work early. :-/

I think my worst one was when I was having a stress over accommodation, I accused my h2b of not giving a toss about the wedding (stronger words where used!) and that he had done nothing to help at all ( this was not true!) and I couldn't see the point of any of it anymore! He promptly took over the accommodation and I don't think I have ever loved him more than at the moment he said those words!

I wouldn't be very happy about this at all.  Does her friend have a habit of copying her?

I announced over the weekend that my OH will have a manicure before the wedding.

He refused saying he will do dance lessons but draws the line at a manicure as he bet that even Len off strictly doesnt have a manicure.

So i tweeted Craig Revel Horwood...and he responded telling me that Len does!

I showed OH to prove my point!

mine not so much bridezilla just bit pissed.... my h2b n me had chose the date when we got engaged few years back and booked it, we started booking venues etc last summer and then found out that his brother ( who he had recently had fall out with as he never bothered with thier family) had got engaged couple months after being with his new gf (after we booked ours) and set the date for bang on 2 months before our day, i dont know it peed me of so much, i think its coz we had the date for years and felt like as we had kids 1st ( which annoyed his brother) he had to be 1st one to get married as he the older one!! sorry for the essay!

Nothing this time, but first time round I was very very particular and wanted the fairytale. I got rather carried away and bridezilla: My colours were gold and cream. So I banned white from the wedding. This didn't simply mean the men had to wear pale ivory shirts instead of white, but also me throwing a hissy fit at the venue for only having white tablecloths, and insisting they hire in ivory cloths with gold runners and napkins! Oh, and I also stated on the invitations that the wedding colours were "ivory, gold, and fire colours" and hinted that the guests may like to co-ordinate.

    What WAS I thinking?!

I'm pleased to say this time I was far far more laid back. Wedding was just the 2 of us anyway, and for the reception my MOH chose the colour scheme (that I didnt' like, but it was her dress so her choice). Family helped decorate the venue and when they asked me how I wanted it, I said i really didn't mind as long as it looked pretty, and when people asked me about a dress code, I said as long as they turned up, I didn't give a hoot! So we had everything from formal dress to jeans and t-shirt turn up, and it really, really didn't matter :)

I didn't have any bridezilla moments. One day (or a couple of hours, anyway) wasn't worth getting stressed over.
