Am I worrying for no reason?

I'm in a bit of a panic as I can't get hold of my hair and makeup lady. I last had contact a couple of weeks ago after my trial, and she just said to let her know the room no of the hotel I'm staying at so she knows where to come on the day. I texted her yesterday evening, and called and left a message today just to make sure everything is ok but I havent heard back yet.

I just don't know what I'm going to do if she doesn't turn up

First of all keep calm, I'm sure she has just not checked her phone or something!

Keep trying her she is bound to answer at some stage! Do you know where she works, if so do you have time to pop over and let her know?

Just breath, you will be fine!

Try not to panic, she could have been busy or phone broken or who knows what- I know it is easier said than done though. Remeber that you spoke to her a couple of weeks ago and she was asking details for where to meet you so she is clearly planning to get to you on your big day.

Have a think about a plan B just incase. Although I strongly believe everything will be ok it may help you to feel less panicky. Think about who out of your friends is good at doing makeup. There will also be a hairdresser somewhere who can fit you in last minute for a hair up or blow-dry, you'll be ok. Remember that if your makeup or hair isnt how you planned it, no1 will know any different. Even though you probably won't need the plan B you might feel better knowing that it would turn out ok if for any reason she couldn't make it.

I'm keeping my fingers crosssed for you. Let us know if she gets back to you so we can breathe a sigh of relief!

keep calm - i expect she is currently working on someone elses hair right now and cant respond to you. maybe she saw your text yesterday and was in the middle of something and thought she will respond later and then forogt - this is something that i do all the time

She lives near Huddersfield but is mobile so could be anywhere. I have a makeup backup and an idea of who could do my hair but haven't asked them yet.

You'll be fine. I'm sure she will get in touch. As others have said, she is probably doing someone else's hair at the moment.

If you still cant get in touch with her, leave her name at reception at the hotel, that way if she has lost her phone or dropped it in a bowl of water or something they will know who she is and where to send her.
