OMs - how long from ordering dress to dress arriving in store?

As the above asks - how long did it take for your dress to arrive after ordering it? I ordered mine 5 months ago and they said 4-6 months so no cause for panic, I'm just curious how long it takes on average. I'm starting to become a bit impatient, I can't wait to see it again!

I think I ordered mine in June and it arrived early December

Mine took four months but the shop thought six, so it came early. I didn't have any fittings until about three months before my wedding though.

Mine took ten months.

I ordered mine December and it is due in the shop in October, so 10 months.

I ordered mine beginning of June and it's due in mid october. I'm getting really impatient too!

Well it took about 11 months but I think that's because I ordered early - they don't want it coming in too early as it'll need storing etc. 

I was told six months, but it arrived in 5 months.

I ordered mine 3rd Sept this year. (wedding 23rd Dec this year, only got engaged 1st Sept!!)

Its due in to the shop 13th Dec. I hope it arrives on time so I can be fitted properly.

Its the only thing i'm worried about tbh. The dress shop said in 25yrs of business, they have never not had a dress for their brides. I put my trust in them. Otherwise, it'll be a jeans wedding for me.

Mine took 4 months, it arrived in store 3 months before my wedding. I think they generally order them and ask for them to be ready for about 3 months before so they haven't got to store them for too long, and that way there is enough time for fittings etc before your big day.

Looking at your ticker I'm sure yours will be ready very soon xxx

I ordered mine from Berketex and pay it on a payment plan which finishes in march but dont actually get to see it again until 4 weeks before the wedding :(

I ordered mine in Jan and got it in June.

Every designer works on different time scales. Some will take longer due to wear they come from and the detail. Generally it's about 6mths.

Thanks for the responses everyone. Good to hear a few people's came early, hopefully I won't have to wait too much longer.

Mine took 5 months - lucky as I got married a few weeks later! 

Seems this thread was unnecessary as I got the call today! Going to try it on again on Saturday. Excited!
