Venues for wedding with 2 guests (spa & golf)

Hi,

We would like to get married with our 2 friends as witnesses. Our ideal wedding would include;

- civil ceremony (on site or offsite)

- nice meal for 4 (don't mind if it is with others, we do not want exclusive use as we'd rather it be relatively casual)

- spa for the ladies, golf for the boys

- accommodation for 2 nights (or more)

We'd like it to be a great weekend away with friends but also to get married.

We'll consider all locations but like Ireland, Scotland, the Lakes, Northumberland as we enjoy the outdoors and walking). 

Any suggestions would be great!

Depends on the budget but Coworth Park in Ascot is stunning, lots of outdoor activities available on site a choice of dinning options (one of the restaurants has a Michelin star) and a spa http://www.coworthpark.com/default.aspx?treeid=1247 i don't think they have golf on site but there is just down the road http://www.royalascotgolfclub.co.uk/

Mere golf and spa in Cheshire. The hotel part is new. I realised I forgot to tell you the name!

From weekends away I think some of the Marriotts do civil ceremonies and have a range of room sizes.  Hanbury Manor has good golf and pretty sure has a spa. Or Forest of Arden one?

Hi, Slaley Hall in Northumberland (which is my venue!) It has a lush spa and excellent golf course!! Check it out!

St Andrews is the home of golf and a beautiful wee town with everything you need within walking distance.
