Has anyone used darkhouse pictures to film their day?

They have an excellent FB offer at the moment that seems too good to be true and wanted to know if anyone of you have had any dealings with them? xx

I have booked them for next year with their £99 deal. Not sure myself if its too good to be true or not. But I wasnt going to have one so if its crap ive only lost £99 and if its great ive got a right bargain.

They have had some bad press on facebook just lately from 1 customer but have had alot of good reviews after that. I havent received a booking form from them yet but have paid the money, ive emailed them twice and finally got a reply saying all booking forms would be posted on their facebook page for me to download and print, however they are not there yet.

Im kinda just waiting to see how things go at the moment...

Yes this is the deal i saw them offer and on their website its nearly £700- how much deposit have u paid?

I just paid the whole £99. And I have the date confirmed via email.

Cool at that price i think its a no brainer will book when pay day arrives : ) x

May be worth googling these guys and doing a bit of research - £99 sounds far too good to be true and I wonder how they are making any money offering this kind of price...

Sorry but I wouldnt touch these guys with a barge pole, they have this 'special offer' on ALL THE TIME. They offered to travel from Liverpool to London where I live, do a whole days filming and editing for £99 and they do it so often if they were legit they'd go bust! When I asked to see sample footage they very abruptly told me that past wedding dvds were for the bride and groom only and I couldnt see any. The guys wife does wedding stationary and there was a facebook group set up a few weeks ago warning of the pair of them, saying darkhouse hadnt shown up to a few weddings and the wife hadnt sent her orders out. I was on the wifes friends list (Danielle YourDesigns) and was going to use her til I saw how many customer complaints there were on her wall (which shes now removed!) I also saw lots of posts on darkhouses page asking when their dvd would arrive but nothing commenting on a finished product. 

I again wouldn't use them - I was looking at the offer and it definitely sounds too good to be true.  I would never book a videographer without seeing sample footage first and he wouldn't give me any despite being into wedding videos for years.  Also something to bear in mind the feedback on his page could easily be from friends / relatives trying to build up his reputation.  Sadly it always seems to be if something is too good to be true....it usually is.  Make sure you have insurance if you do plan on using them just to be safe :)

Where have you read this sovilla? Can you provide further info? I haven't booked with them myself but know some other brides who have.

I got a message from him, said he is trying to give everyone their money back but im not holidng my breath.

Said he has lost his house and family too. Although not sure I believe that. There is a group on facebook for all the people he owes money to. His wife also did wedding stationery and she has gone bust too taking alot of money and orders with her. :(

Well ive just been speaking to him for the last 10 minutes, hes lost his family and hes going to lose his house. Hes not doing anymore wedding videos and is trying to give everyone a refund, although doubt that will happen.

There is a group on facebook who are taking him to the small claims court

I hope I get a refund but im not holding my breath.
