25th August 2012 Brides in here!

Date Twins! I know I have a few - so how are we all feeling now that there is less than 2 months to go!

I'm panicking about all the things I've still got to do, but this is nothing new! Its starting to feel very close now

me me me! I am your date twin. I am super excited about it being less than 2 months to go. Although my budget is rocketing and my to do list is getting longer. You got everything planned? x

It doesn't feel real that its less than 2 months to go! I seriously can't believe it. We're starting the process of chasing RSVP's today and then on thursday I'm dedicating the day to catching up on wedding stuff. Tomorrow morning i'm going to see if I can find some wedding day knickers <super glam>

I'm still waiting on a few rsvps - but they have until 14th July before I start chasing them! The 14th is also the day of my Hen do!

I heard today from my cupcake lady who is co-ordinating my cake display with my sister who is baking and decorating a fruit cake. It will be surprise as I won't see the final result until our wedding day. Just need to pay our deposit and then final amount by 28th July.

Flowers are sorted. and I still need to see the venue co-ordinator when we have final numbers and have decided on favours and decorations. My to=do list is still rather long.

I'm 26th - so 2 months today. hope you don't mind me popping into this thread. starting to feel a bit excited/nervous now x

 

I'm really bored now, I just want it to be the day and not to have to plan anymore

I need to buy underwear, earrings, a new hairpiece (have decided mine is too big!), belt and shoes for OH, favours. Also need to finalise the details for a few things like guest transport, airport transfers for family, flowers, hotel bookings, hair and make-up artist. Aaargh! The list goes on! I think I should be more worried than I am!

Its ok chloe_chloe I think I'm stressed enough for the both of us!

We've started chasing people for responses and most major things are sorted since my Mum ordered our cake yesterday. Still need to buy some bridal knickers, and OH needs to buy shoes. Lots of little things still to do and I'm really worried I've forgotten something important! Also want to start contacting suppliers we booked ages ago to finalise details and check when payments need to be made.... the list goes on BUT I am also starting to get excited!

Can't beleive it's less than 2 months away now - eeeek!

Things we still need to do - buy my jewellery, sort out favours, make the menus and orders of service, sort out music and readings for the ceremony, have my dress fitting (1st one Friday!), buy thank you gifts, sort out venue decorations. There are lots of other bits and bobs but those are the main things - gulp!

I'm glad I'm not the only one with lots to still sort out!

 

The frustrating thing is that I gave an RSVP date in early July, so can't finalise lots of things til then. I wish everybody would hurry up and reply as I want to make a move on things! In hindsight I should have put an earlier date down.

I know how you feel with RSVP's! We didn't put a date on our invites but I assumed that people would reply straight away! Some have, but we're still waiting to hear back from about 70% of people - I just want to know who is coming and to be able to update my spreadsheet!!

I know that I still have quite a lot to do but I don't feel stressed, maybe I should, but I'm just so excited!

I seem to have the same things left to do as most of you, whichi s reassuring I suppose. Either that or we are all going to be over stressed by the time the big day arrives! Still need to sort my underwear and jewellery, bridesmaid dresses not yet in store, grooms suits to be measured for (booked), make up trial (next week), table plan and place cards to write. I also want to double check on suppliers booked ages ago. OOOOOh might start to panic a bit now

Knock knock, can I come in? I'm getting married on Sunday 26th.

Feeling pretty organised finally. Got a few wobbles over my outfit but nothing to manjor so hoping I can sort those out. Need to sort out underwear, collect and pay for OHs kilt and make a decision about the cake. I also need to finish making the confetti cones, table plan and table menus. We have a few evening RSVPs we need to chase and I need to sort out shoes for the bridesmaids. Oh, and we need to put together out iPod disco song list and make final decisions about ceremoy songs. Think that's it - just the little lose ends to tie up :)
