Haha. Yes, was expecting it but wasn't sure when it would happen! We're celebrating with a night in front of the TV in anticipation of the next three days constant celebrations with families and friends 
Details... We were meant to be up in the Lake District this weekend and he had planned to pick up a picnic and then take me onto a row boat on Lake Windermere and do it then. However, we were both so tired last night as I'd had all my exam stress and he's had a very bad day at work so we decided to stay here instead.
So plan two was to go to this little river which has a tea shop which hires out row boats and go for a trip on one of those. He got me there by saying we should do something special as we weren't going to the lakes and we've wanted to do it for a while. However, we got there and they weren't hiring out the boats that day for some unknown reason.
So plan three was just to take me for a walk along the river instead and then he gave me a little speech and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Ahhh. After I said yes etc, we started walking back towards the tea shop but realised that there were people behind us 
in the field! 
So got back to the tea shop, had a cream tea, got in the car and then spent the afternoon phoning people and visiting family.
It's been such an exciting day and fully expect the celebrations to continue over the weekend before a week relaxing in Turkey. Who knew that getting engaged was so tiring!! Hope that satisfies everyone's need for details!
