After only exercising once this week and eating some unhealthy stuff and drinking wine I've managed to lose a pound. Which I'm quite astonished by, but pleased too. I can only assume that its my body adjusting a bit to the greater effort I put in the previous week.
Have definitely drunk more water this week, too, in this heat.
Notts Lass - its very discouraging when the scales don't move but stick with it. Are you being absolutely honest with everything you're eating? When I track every single thing I do find that sometimes when I think I've stuck to the diet I've actually been over on calories. So a few days of doing that and, of course, the scales don't shift. Or if you're exercising more you may find that it takes a little while for your body to adjust to that too so although you're putting in extra effort the scales are stubborn.
Well done to everyone else who has lost this week.
SW - a stay the same is still good. Try eating a few more calories and see how it goes. Have you tried working out how many calories you eat over a week? If you add up all the 'blow out' days plus the 'good' days, does it even out over time, to get you to your target calories, etc intake on MFP? Also salty foods will mean that you retain weight so you may find that if you are eating more of this on the 'blow out' days its not helping.
NB - one pound gain is OK, you'll easily shift that again once you're back on the straight and narrow.
