Hi Everyone.
All our guests will need to have accommodation for at least the night of our wedding and some have said they would like to make a weekend of it, so our venue has held a number of discounted rooms for us until 30 days previous to our date and I'm hoping to get a further discount for those wishing to stay more than 1 night. They have given us a reference for our guests to book with this discount and each reservation needs a deposit of £50 per room.
Tonight we(I) have started to design our save the date postcards and we feel it is best to give our guests as much notice about the discounted room reservations as possible so they can spread the cost if this would make things easier for them, so thought it best to include some information regarding it with the save the date. But we aren't sure if this information would be best on the reverse of our STD postcards or on a separate piece of paper inside the envelope.
Wording is also a problem as we don't want people to feel they NEED to make their reservation this far in advance either ! so any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
So do we -
1) leave it out the STD cards completely?
2) Have the information on the reverse of STD?
3) include it on separate paper?
Our STDs confirms formal invitations are to follow so what would you think if this information was to be included in them?
Thanks in advance
L x
P.S. OH doesn't want to use a wedding planning website so this option is out.
