  • Dress wobbles - HONEST opinions please

I loved my dress when I tried it on and never thought I would be one for getting dress wobbles but I can't help looking at the picture that was taken of me in it and hating it! I love the pic on the model - it makes the dress look stunning but it doesn't look like that on me. I have also recently found another picture of a model wearing it on a catwalk rather than for a photo shoot and it doesn't look great on her either! Then yesterday I found another picture of a real life bride wearing it and didn't think it was on her either.

Can I have your honest opinions please as I still have time to find another dress. Obviously this one is the sample and it three sizes to big so might look different when it's fitted properly. I can't wear strapless dresses (everyone agreed this) so my choices are a bit limited.

Are you kidding? It looks beautiful on you!! The only thing I'd say is personally I'd leave off the veil as I think it looks too busy and I don't think the dress needs it, it's elegant and classy. Just my opinion.

I think its beautiful! When its fitted properly i think it will do wonders for your cleavage, and i love the little detail at the waist. It will look and feel different once its the right size and altered to fit you.

It looks amazing on you, you have a great figure!  I cant see what you are worried about?  Not sure about the veil though, I think the ribbon edge is too heavy, but that's just my personal opinion.

I honestly think it looks beautiful on you.

  • Re: Dress wobbles - HONEST opinions please

I tried on a very similar dress hoping it would look like it does on you but it didn't.

I think it's gorgeous and you look fabulous and if that dress had looked like that on me, it'd be my dress!!  Stick with it, it's really beautiful.

Absolutely lovely.  What the Lisa has said, i would personally leave the veil off.  Love the V-neck and the pleated effect across the front and on the top.  Love the detail too.  Love the dress and it lookds gorgeous on you.

I cant see any problems with it, it looks lovely. Pictures can never do the dress justice compared to seeing it in real life, so perhaps this is the problem your having. Also as you have said, once it is fitted properly and in your size it will look even better. But please dont worry as you have nothing to worry about!

I really like it, and actually also like the veil detailing as well but maybe a bit too long. I am sure you will feel better in it when it is your own proper made to measure version and not the sample.

Absolutely love the dress and it looks amazing on you.  Agree with loulou though about the veil, maybe have something in your hair to reflect the sparkle on the waistband.

I think you look stunning in that dress, it really suits your figure. I agree with the others regarding the veil though, I think you would need a simpler and shorter one without the ribbon edging.

However, as much as I understand that you need some reassurance regarding your dress, I think other people's are a bit pointless really, as you need to feel that it's "the one". I think most of us have dress wobbles at one point (I did too), but it doesn't matter how many people tell you you look amazing in your dress, you have to feel it yourself.

I think it looks lovely. Agree about the veil though - you maybe don't need to lose the veil all together but I would definitely choose one with a more subtle edge.
