I had orignially wanted to get married in Mexico a that is where we got enagaged and its the most beautiful place, however as its and 11 hour flight many family members would be able to make it. To us it was important to have family with us on the day as i cant imagie getting married without my family. I think you and other half need to have a chat and decide if it is important to you to have people there to celebrate your day with, if so maybe you could look at European destinations that you love, the greek islands are lovely as Fawny mentioned above or maybe Italy.
If you would rather it be just you two then maybe go for a long distance luxurious place such s the carribean or the maldives or somwhere you really fancy.
