Been to look at honeymoons! Where are you all going?

We went to look at honeymoons today have my heart set on Maldives but can only do a week as we're leaving little one with her granny! oh thinks it's too far to travel for one week and it's a lot out of our budget :( now I'm all upset! 

We looked at Maldives, Mauritius etc but its so far to travel and the cost was way over our budget. So were going to Turkey for 2 weeks 5* for half the price.

Booked our's on Friday we are going to Bellagio in Italy for 10 days

We are still undecided due to time off work and budget but would love to go to Vietnam and Cambodia. Thinking of going a few months after the wedding though so we can save a bit more and also have the time off work :) 

If we do go a few months after we are going to go to spain for a week straight after the wedding.

We're looking to go to America for two weeks :-)

MEXICO, CANT WAIT

We're jetting off to the Maldives for two weeks, expensive but will be 100% worth every second. I think you're right that one week might feel a bit short, the flight from the UK is just over ten hours so you lose some time getting there and back.

We are going to mexico :) Slightly breaks our buget as its easter hols so the prices are hiked up a bit but so worth it!

don't worry Laura9889, i know so many friends that went to the Maldives for their honeymoons and said it was paradise  but utterly boring and don't go for longer than a week. One week is a perfect length of time to go as long as you can sleep on the flight out! We're going to the Amalfi Coast in Italy as we're getting married in July and the weather in Maldives/Seychelles/Indian Ocean terrible that time of year.  Good luck with booking!

Were looking into Mauritus for 10 nights then a 3 night safari in tanzinia. We had also looked at the maldives but in have decided on Mauritus as theres a bit more to do if we get a bit bored of lying on the beach! Although i dont see this happening ... OH might though .  Still waitin gon quotes from the travel agent though so this could all change

We're having our wedding 7 months apart from our honeymoon so we can save for it but we've booked to go on a cruise round the Norwegian Fjords at the end of next April, Can't wait
