Reading the DM article about armpit hair...ick...do you take pride in your appearance even ifyou can';t see on the outside, so bikini line/armpits/legs etc.

    Whats acceptable to YOU?

Well I'm just wondering how much internal grooming people do? What about nasal hair as well? Cilia? Stomach lining? Are people making sure their intestines are laid out evenly? I mean I KNOW other people can't see it but ya'know pride in personal appearance an allWink

That article freaked me out a bit!

I always make sure my armpits are taken care of, my bikini line and my legs only more so in the spring/summer although I don't let them 'overgrow' by any stretch of the imagination in the darker months! lol

    It's like this:

If my pits are hairy, I wear a long sleeved top.

If my legs are hairy, I wear trousers.

I probably go 3 weeks max without shaving my legs, and a week without doing my underarms.

I don't sweat the small stuff! That said, I do wear makeup and do my (head) hair every day.

I pluck my chin weekly too.....

See legs and bikini line, fair dos, but armpit hair is not for me. I freak if I go over a day without shaving them.

Don't they get sore? Mine get really sore with shaving so I do it as little as poss. I woudln't get them out all hairy though.

Nope, I do it in the shower if that makes a difference?

I shave everywhere every other day. I feel a lot happier and confident when i'm fuzz free.

Urgh I have to say I think it looks horrid, I often get a bit hairier than I'd like but would never show it off! I think it looks really masculine.

I remove all my armpit hair, yes, because I prefer how it looks ... But surely that's just our culture? In other cultures, us bald pitted girls would look weird or disgusting?!
I suppose I mainly remove it so I don't get BO. Isn't that why we have it though, it's 'designed' to trap sweat and attract a mate?! Funny that we do the exact opposite to do the same thing...
I think good on her. I am dreading dealing with this issue soon with A, judging by some of your responses, (not having a go) I'd better teach her how to remove body hair. Not sure I feel confident leaving her with a razor?! Maybe I should do it? Food for thought...
