I have the dress at my mums as I bought it in a sample sale last summer. It is a size that fitted me at the time of buying it but was a bit big around the shoulders/straps and the length needs altering. I took it to a local bridal shop for a quote on alterations and the lady said I could do with losing a couple of inches around the waist which was fine so booked in alterations for this July. I have now lost 24 lb through exercise and dieting so thought I'd try the dress again.
Dress was too big so I had to roll up 3 tshirts to stuff down the back and even with socks down my front it looks like I've got no bust in it. I'm not too worried as I know the seamstress can take it in but I did feel like the dress was wearing me instead of the other way round. Has anyone got any advice or ideas about what underwear I should wear as I don't want/can't afford a boob job.
I'm not sure about underwear but you look stunning!!!
Well done on the weight loss!!
Maybe go into m&s and ask one of the ladies there. You could always buy a few to try on and then take ones you don't want back.
Also consider 'chicken fillets'!!
first thing that springs into my mind is chicken fillets
really good strapless bra and fill it the dress looks fab hun i should be too worried once its all taken in properly it will feel a lot better

a good gel bra with the detachable inserts (chicken fillets)so you can fill it as big or small as you like, your dress is very pretty though once it fits it will be stunning x
You look gorgeous. Well done on the weight loss.

You look stunning and it's an amazing dress. Once it's been taken in and you've got a good bra on it'll look even better. I like the ultimo range for a boost!

a wonderbra ultermate (think thats what it called) the added umph you get is great (even after children!) but like others have said, once the alterations are done you'll look fab. Well done on your weight lose too
gorgeous dress x
Thanks for all your lovely comments and helpful advice . Feeling a bit more confident and reassured now. I think I will take up the advice on getting some good underwear/bra and then maybe if that doesn't work will try the chicken fillets as option 2.
Thanks again all x
Will remove pic later just in case anyone I know stumbles across it
Just wanted to say that you look fantastic in your dress! You have nothing to worry about

Congrats on the weight loss and the dress is gorgeous. I lost over a stone for my dress and ended up losing a cup size :( I bought a bra in Debenhams that increases the bust size by 2 cups. It's from the bridal range - Ultimo I think, but it really pushes them up and gives me curves.
