Oh no! Not listening! I'm driving H mad at the moment by constantly watching the Cake Boy programmes - no room for anyone else!

Yes, me! I love her! Mr Knees fancies her too.

She's on after Saturday Kitchen, which is one of my favourite shows, so I came across her by accident. I can't believe what she makes in her tiny kitchen!

Yes i love it. But i hate the way she says vegetables. Vechtables.

Once i hate something like this it really realyl affects me. And not in a positive way.

Its the same with James Martin and Marzipan. He says its Marzi-PAN and it gets right on my nerves!!!!!

  • Re: My new foodie crush...

I don't like her. Can't pin down why!

I am quite taken with those two brothers who bake stuff. Once is kinda geeky and the other a bit sexy. Both hot in different ways. And they make FOOD. Mmmmmmfood. Cannot remember their names though.

ETA - google is my friend. Tom & Henry Herbert AKA The Fabulous Baker Brothers on channel 4.

With you there CO. Specially when they make PIES!

As voted for by you. I'm funny, blunt, pleasant and unreasonable. How DO I do it?

I need to "chill a bit an (sic) pipe down"

Jamie Oliver says "pav - A - lova" instead of "pavlova" which really annoys me.

I like the concept but her speech annoys me. 'Vegetables' is a good example.

Is she from Croydon? She sounds like it. I don't like the way she chops things either but then Lorraine P creeps me out in the same way, even though I think she's ace!

This. My friend has just posted a picture of her with James Martin on book face. I am very jealous she said he was lovely.

I have a real weakness for a man who loves food. The Herbert brothers are possibly the most sensible of my foodie crushes. James Martin is middle of the spectrum, and right over on my Weird Foodie Crushes end is Gregg Wallace Embarrassed 'specially when he growls the word "LAARRVELY!" EmbarrassedEmbarrassedEmbarrassed

She can't chop properly - she looks like she'll cut off a finger!  Lorraine P is the same!

I really like Rachel Khoo, don't worry about her chopping her finger off, she was trained at the Cordon Bleu! She's doing what I should have done 15 years ago instead of going to university.

I love Jamie Oliver - speech aside, he's doing as much good as he can with the talent that he's got. I doff my cap to him.

I absolutely can't stand The Fabulous Baking Brothers - I hate the way they talk so much I saw 15 mins of it and had to turn over, so annoying!
