new to this :) getting started!?!?!

Hi all!

Well wedding venue booked in pencil, and church will be booked now i feel at a loss with what to do next??? I no theres so much to do towards a wedding but it feels like years away! what do you reccomend i do next??

Photographer (TOG) - they can get booked up AGES in advance!

Get an idea of colours/ themes and what sort of "feel" you want for your day, this will help you when thinking about bridesmaid dresses, table centres, invitations, favours etc....

When have you booked for? It does seem like ages away when you first get started (mine still seems ages away!) but you'll be surprised how fast the time goes (or so i've been told!

it does seem like ages away! its friday 13th sept 2013 so have a while to go.. iv been collecting bits i like...

Im getting married on a hotel on the beach so will sort of have a beach theme... thinking of ocean blue bmaid dresses with crystal,glass and silver table decs and an ice cream van while photos are going ahead... so have lots of ideas but not sure what im ment to be booking first or if i should now sit back for a few months then start organising! like i said seems like so far away not sure when or what to start on, just became real today when we booked the venue peppr potts whens your big day??

Hello - and welcome to hitched :o) 

If you take a look in the drop down menu of the members area (top right hand corner of the screen) you will see a to-do list tab that should help you with ideas on what to do next. You should also find tools such as a budget planner, guest manager, scrapbook and more....

Just let us know if you have any problems using the site or are unsure of how to use a specific tool.
