October 2012 brides - how is the planning going?

I'm getting married on 6th October 2012 and here's what we've got so far:

Save the dates - sent
Venue and Registrar booked
DJ booked
Caterer booked but not chosen menu
Cake maker booked but not chosen cake
Dress ordered (but no bridesmaids dresses yet!)
Photographer booked
Met the florist but not yet booked
Rings ordered 

I still  have so much to do and I don't have a colour theme or bridesmaids dresses yet!

Where is everyone else up to?

Hello date twin!

I've got church, reception, DJ, caterers, my dress, BM dresses, flowers, photographer, my ring.

Still need to sort suits, cake, his ring.  Lots of little bits and bobs still to do, but can't really do anymore until closer to the time!!

Our colour theme is bluuuue.

Date triplet here!  I've got:

Church, venue (inc DJ and catering), Dress, BM dresses, photographer, rings, transport, florist, suits, cake, favour containers though not the sweets to go into them!

Just have to pay for it all as so far it's mainly deposits that are down.  It feels ages away :(

Hi I am getting married Sat 13th October. I can't believe its nearly 7 months!

So far I have church, reception venue, photographer, wedding cars booked, my mum is going to do the cake and I am going to make invites over Easter.

 Still have bridesmaid dresses to sort out, having 3 but one is pregnant at the moment and due June so a bit unsure what to do really. May have to sort the other 2 out soon and then hopefully find something to match nearer the time for the 3rd bidesmaid.

• Dress ordered (EXCITED!)
• Centre Pieces purchased
• Invitations are nearly complete (making myself)
• Brooch Bouquet being made (by me!)
• Diet underway!
• Cake design decided - my mum organising this
• Colour Scheme decided
• Beautician Booked
• H2B's suit purchased
• Honeymoon Booked
• Venue Dresser Booked

It's all coming together...whenever I see my ticker I get all excited and get butterflies!  :O)

Yes, I think it's cos I got organised so early so I'm just sat waiting for things to do!

I also have colours, my BMs are wearing bronze and we are having sunflowers :)

October- bride you have a date twin! I am getting married on the 13th too! I have booked the chapel, reception, caterers, TOG, and chair covers. Have bought my dress, but I keep stressing about it not being perfect for me. Have not got BM dresses yet, do not have a colour scheme, flowers, cars or entertainment booked yet. Not even looked at hooneymoons so I really need to stop browsing this forum and actually get on with it lol.

I now have bridesmaids dresses, have booked the florist and booked the musicians for the ceremony and reception.

Last big thing now is the groom's outfits.

I'm actually feeling quite organised :)

I have had a look at dresses but not yet finalised, as with bm's.

not yet thought about invites, suits, rings, favours, honeymoon, gifts & other decorations.....

October Brides!! 

I managed to get two cute fake bay trees from Matalan at the weekend, £20 each!  BARGAIN!  My mum's getting some black organza and I'm gonna get some little batter operated LED lights to place in the trees for the evening.  The trees will initially be for the ceremony (weather permitting it will be outside!) and then moved to be outside where the reception is. 

Am finalising the invitations this week.  When are you sending yours out?  I was thinking the end of April??

I keep looking for shoes!

I am on the 12th :)

This makes me feel better only being a bit behind :) I have the venue and registrar, am speaking to the caterers, started on my fabric flowers, chosen the dress and need to go and get measured.  I started ordering little things like wedding album to make me feel I was moving forward :)

need to get a push one to order Bridesmaid dresses, book a band, decide on my invites and design,

Is anyone else doing a minimoon in October?  I want to go somewhere hot, but only have a week - any ideas?

We haven't finalised anything yet! But the ideas are all coming together :S

Hi, I made my invites over the Easter break. Next thing I need to sort out is flowers for the church etc.
