  • Suit Hire & Deposits

    Hello All,

We're visiting the most affordable suit hire place in our area on Monday, all going well we plan on making a booking.

I just wondered how much people paid for a deposit?

Our wedding isn't until August 2013, but as this company is such a good price we don't want to hang around if we like the quality but i'm unsure of the deposit, I do know that other companies in our area charge upto £200 deposit!

    Thanks,

    Alipops x

So, I didn't actually win any... What's your point?

Booking this far in advance, I would really recommend wedding insurance before you hand over any hard cash...assuming you don't already have it.

One place have told me 50% of hire costs (we are only having 4 suits) and one company have said if we book May for Sept wedding they would need full amount.

  • Re: Suit Hire & Deposits

Ours was 50% of the total cost as well which I think was around £270ish.

Definitely recommend that you get wedding insurance before you hand over any money! We cannot be too careful especially with the current climate. We have just paid our deposit which was £20 per suit for our wedding in September and we have to pay the balance 3 weeks before. Smile

    Thanks all.

We do have insurance, got it before we even booked the venue! Better safe than sorry.
